Works great for using your earbuds with your television. Got a new TV and had to get an adapter to use my Optical cable for my headphones. The adapter has a plug that I can plug this into and the volume on the TV regulates the volume on the earbuds.

This headphone extension cable is very well made and durable. I use it to connect my tv to headphones while in my office. Sound quality is perfect with no distortion from the length. Highly recommend
