This product was the third (and final) power strip/surge protector that I purchased for my travels from the United States to South Africa and Victoria Falls, and it was perfect for recharging all of my dual voltage electronics, including my phone, my fitbit watch, my hearing aids, and my three power banks. It is not a converter, so please check the voltage of your products before plugging in. The prongs are designed to fit North American electrical outlets, but simple adapters make this product usable in other countries. For that reason, it is very versatile. I liked this unit the best because it is smaller than many of the available power strips; it has a safer power cord that retracts into the unit itself when not in use; and there is sufficient distance between each outlet to allow for the larger charging blocks. I am disappointed that it took so much time for this product to show up during my search on Amazon.

Everything about this power hub is great, and it serves the intended purpose. However, probably due to the cord storage and surge protector, it is a fairly large and heavy item. We have taken it on trips, but it is awkward. That is the readon for four stars instead of five. There is nothing functionally wrong with the product.Note, most cruise lines do not allow devices with surge protectors on the belief that they pose a fire risk. On a recent cruise with National Geographic/Linblad, they actually recommended a power strip with a surge protector for computer use in case of voltage fluctuations. Very refreshing.

i bought it to provide sufficient outlets when i travel abroad. it does the job well.

cord not retratable :( and package with no tape holding the box togther :( sent back via Khols yesterday ,very disappointed but Amazon making it correct

Works as described. Initially it took me a while to get the retraction but that was only momentary. The design is great. Space saving. I would buy another.

Power outlet is not robust enough and after a short time would not accept 2 pin plugs without difficulty if at all.

It’s very handy and convenient but the things you plug into it get very hot and I’m afraid I might leave it on too long and it will catch fire! One of the plug I s already doesn’t work!
