Fender3-ply, black, 13-hole mount precision bass pick guard (with truss rod notch), 099-1352-000

Really expensive for what it is, but it reduced the hum I was getting from an off-brand pick-guard I used.

I ordered this to replace the pick guard on my 1975 Precision which, after many years of use, was damaged at the bottom where the lead goes in. The item took quite a while to arrive and when it did arrive, it was in a bubble envelope, not much protection having been sent from America, hence the longer delivery time.The new pick guard thankfully was undamaged and did fit my bass well, however, a couple of the screw holes were ever so slightly off, also some screws holes did not match the original e.g. the holes for the pick up guard were absent and the holes for the thumb pick were not there, but I can live without these at present, and if required, I can re-drill the holes if necessary.Despite this, the pick guard, as stated, did fit and is a close match to the original, it is a Fender original also and appears sturdy and well made. It has helped bring a bit of new life to my trusty old precision bass and, for that, I am glad I purchased it. I deducted one star as it was not a perfect match, but is very close.

This was a perfect fit for my Fender American Pro P bass.

Replaced the original, white, pick guard on my MIM Standard Precision bass with this black one. It's a genuine Fender part. The fit and finish is perfect. It's a 3-ply guard with a white middle ply. I briefly considered buying one of those $15 knockoffs but after reading some of their reviews and seeing the quality of the genuine Fender part, I'm glad I didn't. Get this one, you won't be disappointed.

Acquistato per sostituire il battipenna bianco di un Precision American Pro, ottimo materiale, ma non tutti i fori per le viti combaciano perfettamente ai fori presenti sul basso, in alcuni punti ho dovuto forzare, rovinando la filettatura originale e in un paio di fori la vite non è entrata proprio del tutto. Sinceramente il prezzo è un po' alto per un pezzo di plastica, soprattutto se i fori non combaciano alla perfezione.

ネック廻り削って微調整しなければ成らないと思ってましたが、意外に何とかポン付けで、行けました‼️

Fits my Made in MEX Players Series P-Bass perfectly, all the holes lined up without issue. Genuine Fender product and seems to be better quality, USA made, then the parchment guard that came on my Bass from factory (which was warped BTW), A+, would buy again!
