I have ordered 4 of these light/fans. They work great! I have an old house built in 1900 and some of the bedrooms have no light switches. So, this was perfect for me to just install in the light fixture and use the remote! I also installed one in my bathroom which had no fan for venting. This works great because it can help keep the moisture down. I do wish that I could just hit the main power button on the remote to turn on the light...... rather than trying to remember which button the "light" was on in the dark. But, I think I have it down now. I will eventually have switches put in each room to turn the light on and off on the wall. Until then... It's a tiny pain but, worth it. I love the dimming feature and the color tone change and the fan part! Definitely recommend.

Bought this to put in my kitchen for better air flow while Cooking! It’s been great just have two complaints. 1st complaint is the semi clear plastic that the led light shines through will eventually start to fade and peel. Second is no matter how snug you mountIt there will always seem to be slight vibration when you turn it to full power. Other than that lighting is great. Wish it came with a multi function light switch instead of a remote that would make it 5star for sure!

Very pleased with the low profile of this ceiling fan and light. The fan blades are very transparent and they run quiet. The lighting works well with the various settings available. I installed this in a 10 x 10 room and it is a perfect size for such. The fan was well packaged and has ok installation unstructions. Hardware included covers installation onto a exsting box that your current light fixture is attached to or to instal into a ceiling with no box. Also included are wire nuts, wall anchors and screws for the remote bracket, and batteries for the controller. The wires are pre stripped on the white and black and you have a long grounding wire. You get a hook to hang the light from the ceiling bracket while you connect the wires. I just needed a screw driver for this installation. It was very easy. Even if you have never done this before you should find this to be a simple task, just don't forget to cut the power to the room before you go messing with the wires. I was done in under 30 minutes. The instructions tell you to attach the receiver to the top of the fan with tape. They have already done this for you with a plastic band. Just FYIAll works well and it works as described. If you wish you can also hook this fan and light up to your phone through an app they have. I have not tried this so you can report on this function if you do it. Overall, it is working fine and seems to be a pretty good unit.
