Excellent 9mm filter from leading brand. Do what it says on the tin. Priced a tad high, mind you. They'll fit any 9mm pipe, Italian, German or Irish, whether drilled for charcoal or balsa wood. I use these for aromatics, and any stickier tobacco, as they absorb excessive moisture. Good for one smoke, then replace them. Ceramic cap, charcoal pellets. They'll eliminate any gurgle you get from dampish tobacco or a longer, or bent stem, mopping up condensation, and making cleaning your pipe less work. Of course, you'll need to dissemble your pipe each time, rather than simply rum a pipe cleaner through it. But these are a handy piece of kit for solving the dreaded gurgle.

I have had them before and they are spares for when my Stanwell (200) ones run out.... I usually go for them but the price bounces up and down by as much as £10 so I keep checking to buy when the price is on the lower side

I am new to the Pipe world, as such I do like to have quality products to make my discovery journey more reliable, thus I was glad to see that the quality of these filters is top notch, German made, plus I like the fact that it has a colored tip (blue) to properly insert the filter in the correct airflow direction. All in all, I am glad of the purchase.

I smoke Peterson system pipes that take a 9mm filter, and these work perfectly. I like that they are double-ended, so it doesn't matter which way round they're put in. I go through a couple of packs per year, and I find it more convenient and less expensive to use these filters than to buy the small boxes. Highly recommended.
