Keeps baby entertained!
What I like:- keeps my son entertained daily (purchased just before he turned 4 months and he’s now 5 months)- vibrant colours just like the hungry caterpillar from the book- each section has different textures and there are crinkly/crackly sounds to stimulate senses. It plays twinkle twinkle little star when you press the music button- large in size- feels soft for babies hands and looks well madeWhat I don’t like:- the straps that are used to attach it to the pram bar or the car seat are so weak, as other reviews have mentioned. One pull and it comes off as the Velcro isn’t very strong at all. So, even though I think it’s well made overall, I think in terms of value for money I would knock a few pounds off for this reason alone. The straps have a very cheap feel and look.

Fantastic hanging sensory toy
This toy is amazing. So many sensory interactive bits to play with and textures to feel. My daughter loved the spinning balls and the little sun in the pouch. It's sell well made and the fabric choices are perfect. There are textured fabrics, crinkly sounds, bells and squeaker and the spinning ball and also plays music. We love this toy and ideal for and child who loves the very hungry caterpillar.

Lovely product
My 3 month old son adores this, it keeps him entertained in his bouncy chair for a while. Bright colours, lots of interest and attaches easily to the chair arch. Very happy with it.

Large and Well Made Activity Toy
I bought this caterpillar to hang in my daughters cot when she was 6 months old, to keep her busy if she woke up early. The caterpillar seems to be well made and sturdy. There are a lot of different sensory textures and materials, I think it is a nice touch that the fabrics used are in the style of the Hungry Caterpillar artwork. The legs and antenna are also crinkly.Like other reviewers have said, the velcro on the hanging loops is very weak. I instead hung it up in the cot by attaching them to some baby hanging rings. I was planning to sew the velcro together after that but it hasn't been necessary- It seems to stay up fine now. The other negative point is that the button to play the music is quite tricky for a young child to press but that can also be considered a positive if you don't want to continually hear the high-pitched music! (Ours plays 'You are my Sunshine'!)My daughter never actually played that much with this pram toy but has still become quite attached to it and was keen to hang it on the guard rail once she moved into a bed.Overall a good quality pram toy with some interesting sensory elements, though I feel it is a bit overpriced for what you get.

Excellent toy
I decided to get this toy again as my son, who is now a teen, loved it as a baby. My 5 month old daughter also loves it because there are a lot of things to grab her interest. I was very fortunate to purchase it when it was on offer for £11.75. Highly recommend 👌

Nice toy, weak velcro
The toy itself is lovely and my son enjoys it, but it was bought to attach to the pram and the hoops are short and the velcro too weak to keep it in place which is a shame as that aside it is very nice. Unfortunately it sits in his toy box now as I had to buy a second. It wasn't the cheapest so honestly I'd have expected better as it's not really fit for intended purpose.

The Very Hungry Caterpillar
The media could not be loaded. This is a gorgeous baby toy which is suitable from newborn onwards and is in the design of Eric Carle's Very Hungry Caterpillar from the very famous book of the same name. This is one of my favourite baby toys that my children have had and my daughter loves it and makes it 'walk along'.I have attached a video showing the caterpillar activity toy, it's features and it's Twinkle Twinkle Little Star tune. I have also added some pictures which are at the end of the video just before the three and a half minute mark should anyone wish to just view the pictures. The caterpillar has so many sensory features such as it's crinkly ears/antennae, crinkly feet, ribbon taggies, spinning clear ball with rattle balls inside, clanking rings, spinning bead and a squeaking apple which can be put in and taken out of a clear pocket in the caterpillar. The caterpillar also has lots of different textures and colours and this makes this is a wonderfully interactive toy for your baby. The caterpillar has two velcro tabs to enable it to be attached to maybe a cot or pram and the spinning clear ball with rattle balls inside can be removed if wished. The caterpillar toy is surface wipe clean only and cannot be submerged in water due to the tune it plays. This is a fantastic toy which is much loved by my daughter and would make a perfect present for a newborn if thinking of gifting this to anyone.Edit 04/03/2016:- I have just added the video and pictures as I omitted to add them when I initially wrote the review. The melody is till working however this hasn't been 'over-pressed' by my daughter as she just likes to play with the other features of the caterpillar and have it in her cot.
