Perfect!!!
This bag is absolutely perfect. Very well made. Waterproof, pockets inside and out, padded computer compartment, drink holders front and back. Best of all, it clips on and off the bike rack with a single pull on the release handle. Mounts securely. There's a velcro strap on the inside bottom of the bag if you're going to be mountain biking. Otherwise, all you need is the top clamp.

Sturdy, waterproof, and inexpensive.
These bags are worth way more than the price. I have had some very expensive panniers in the past and these match those in quality and have more features but cost much less. They are made with a waterproof material and therefore don't need extra covers. The material keeps its shape but is not too rigid. The top rolls up and can be latched to keep things safe in the rain or they can be unrolled so that they are extra tall for carrying a french loaf etc. They are the size of an extra tall paper grocery bag. They are very easy to adjust to most any rear rack and attach and lock on very easily. They can be used as a backpack, worn over the shoulder with an included strap or just carried with the handle. The backpack is not meant for carrying long distances but works well for short hauls. These are an extraordinary value and honestly, I would recommend them over any panniers I have used in the past.

Great Backpack Pannier Convertible for the Price (UPDATE: No It Isn't)
Update: So I'm about 8 months in with this item and it broke in two ways. 1) The zipper protecting the pannier hooks from hurting your back snapped off.2) The pannier hooks themselves broke off.Getting a replacement was strange. The manufacturer told me they couldn't give me one and told me to contact Amazon. That's weird because the warranty is supposed to be for 12 months. I was skeptical about the Amazon route because this should be well outside the return window for Amazon but to my surprise they honored the return and I'm getting a full refund.I decided to repurchase this because I still like the design and its the cheapest pannier I see on Amazon that can do all these things. However, I will not be using this as my primary pannier, only as a secondary.----------I've had another pannier for a long time but I always got annoyed that I couldn't wear it like a backpack. I would end up taking a backpack and the pannier on my commutes, defeating the entire purpose.Enter: this thing. It's not the best pannier and it's certainly not the best backpack, but it does both and it is very reasonably priced given all the features it has.An hour ago to give it the ultimate test, I took the pannier to the grocery store and I loaded it to the brim with groceries. Milk, eggs, but also produce like cherry tomatoes as well as some staples. Despite going over several roads that had a ton of potholes on them, the groceries were undamaged. I suspect this has a lot to do with the design of the lock for the pannier. It's incredibly simple to mount on the bike and once they are on they stay tightly in place. The backpack feature is why I bought the thing though and it performs decently. The pannier certainly doesn't have the same amount of compartments as a commuter backpack, but it has a laptop sleeve and a mesh protected zipper area on the inside. That's fine for me, the most I'm bringing to work is a change of clothes, my u-lock, and my laptop. A few people have said the straps aren't well insulated and I disagree. They are very comfortable on my shoulders. If you want a truly amazing backpack/pannier combo, you will need to pay more than 40 dollars. But I am fine with settling for a good bag that gets the job done. This is that.

Surprisingly Good
I've been using panniers for some time now. I needed to replace my older ones. I found this on Amazon and thought I'd give it a try. Wow, it works quite well. Very easy to attach to bike rack. The shoulder strap is comfortable. The bag seems sturdy and well crafted. It's not flimsy or cheap (like I expected for this price). I'm going to buy another one so I have two matching bags. Nice product!

Great bag for commuting
Love this little bag. Fits my laptop well for commuting to work. The hooks stay completely attached to the rear rack (so sturdy that if you life the bag while connected it lifts the bike). The waterproof design keeps everything inside dry, and the material is rigid so that the bag doesn't 'morph' too much like flimsier bags you see on rear bike racks. Love the backpack straps that completely tuck away and hide during biking. I think it has a fairly good look that looks nice when I enter the office, too. Definitely recommend to someone bike commuting.

Great for the price!
I got this bag for commuting and its been fantastic. Its very comfortable to ware as a backpack - even for smaller people which is shocking. It fits a good amount of stuff and clips on to the back of the bike with ease! The only two gripes I have are the water bottle holders are a bit small (would not fit a nalgene) and the color is darker than the photo, a light forest green versus mint. I would recommend as I am thinking of getting a second for extra groceries!

Will Not Stay On
Will not stay on without adding ties like bungie chords. I was greatly disappointed with this pannier. It is a good size, not too big but plenty of room, has a nice color, good zipper, well constructed and designed interior; quality waterproof material; versatile set of straps; good buckles; and a mounting system that looked similar to that found on other tried and tested panniers; all at a much lower cost. But the retractable mounting hooks are so weak that when it hits a good bump it goes flying. I have to strap it to the bike with a pair of bungy chords to keep it in place over bumps. It may be that the pannier only works with certain sizes of rear racks but they don't state this in the ads. Also I have a common Topeak rack for hybrids that you see everywhere and the hooks with or without the removable shims will not exert enough pressure to keep the pannier on over run of the mill street bumps. It looks like the spring mounted system used to keep the hooks secure is too weak to do the job fully. I didn't have to pay extra for the bungie chords I had them around before I bought the pannier but it adds a lot of effort to attaching the pannier to the bike. If I had to do over again I would spend a little extra to get a better bag and I would test it out before the return period expired.

Pretty Great Pannier/Backpack!!
I've been using this mostly as a pannier for my commutes for a few weeks now. Very durable! Holds lots (in one sense, bad because I want to overpack! Lol) So far, no incidents of the bag popping off the rack. I like that it has a compartment for my laptop, smaller internal and external zippered compartments, and side pockets to stow away a wallet, keys, bike lights, straps, etc. The roll top helps keep things waterproof. Great that there's a shoulder strap and options to carry it. I haven't used it as a backpack a lot yet, but it felt okay on my back. Added bonus that there's a sternum strap. One thing I added was some small bungees to the outside strapping (that looks like pen or tool holders) to secure my bike lock. Works great - maybe later iterations of the bag can have a dedicated bike lock pocket... Remains to be seen how it will hold out in the lung run, but after just a few weeks of use, I think I can endorse this bag.
