Great product, wonderful tech support experiences.
Two things I like about this product: One is the fan-less design that not only provides a quite working environment but also gives me worry free for future exhausted fan replacement. The other one is the PD Detection design that let me feel so comfortable to use with my non-PoE devices. One more thing is the 2 uplink ports design that makes it easy for me to link two network trunks. The tech support guy is so experienced, knowledgeable, and friendly. He not only pointed out my issue right away but also gave me the proper suggestions and solutions to help me to finish setting up my surveillance camera system.

Good quality switch
Good quality switch. All the ports work and it's still working while powering 10 POE cameras.

Nice little switch
Nice little PoE switch for the money. Running a couple of IP cameras and a handful or regular drops in my house and working great so for. Fanless design makes my wife happy since it's mounted in the living room and the other one had dual cooling fans so the living room always had the constant hum of them running, so this was a nice shift.

Decent POE Switch - Poor Speeds
Switch is good for the money. However, it severely limited my Wi-Fi speeds when I attached 2 Unifi WAPs. I swapped to an Ubiquiti POE switch and the Wi-Fi speeds skyrocketed. As shown in the image attached, I ran a speed test before and after the switch swap. Speeds for Wi-Fi were at ~53Mbps with the BV-Tech POE switch. After I swapped to an Ubiquiti switch, speeds from the same device in the same location skyrocketed to 645Mbps. After talking with others, it seems that the issue may have been that this switch could not handle the amount of traffic going through it. However, it did power up the APs and provide internet access.Overall, the POE switch is decent for the money. If you only have 1 WAP, or attaching cameras or other things it will probably serve you well. However, for me, I had to go with another switch.I will be keeping the device for future use.

UPDATE! They work fine while they last. 3rd one failed less than 1 year old
UPDATE: Just this week I replaced 2ea 18 port models at 2 separate sites. These are the 5th and 6th ones out of 8 i have bought over the last 2-3 years. Both failed after a recent power outage. Both times ports 11-16 died. Don;t bother, get the TL-SL1218MP for about $135.00. A much more reputable mfg.I have installed 7 or 8 (16 port and 24 port) of these for professionally installed IP camera systems. They are simple to install with no issues. This is the second that has failed on us. The first one was replaced under warranty and this one is at 11 months so it should be replaced as well. Each of the ones that failed were installed at different projects. I am pretty certain the power supply is the issue. When they fail they just go dead. No intermittent issues leading up to the failure. They come at a great value, but if they do not last then they are worthless.
