Saboteur Gold by Coiledspring Games is a new reprinting and repackaging of the 2004 card game Saboteur and its 2011 expansion Saboteur 2. The box contains the decks of cards for both games and the chits for the expansion. It contains one rule booklet for both games. Saboteur is for 3 - 8 players and the expansion is for 2 - 12 players. The cards for Saboteur 2 have a number "2" in the bottom left-hand corner so that the decks can be split out if required.Saboteur is a fairly lightweight family card game where players are assigned hidden roles and objectives. The gold-diggers have to get from the mine entrance to the treasure (by laying down route cards) and the saboteurs have to stop them. After a few turns it should be possible to start deducing who has which role and block them from achieving their objective. The game is played over three rounds. The more players, the more fun the game is.Saboteur 2 extends the concept very well with more roles, more teamwork (blue gold-diggers vs green gold-diggers vs saboteurs if you have enough people to play) and some additional route cards.This edition is excellent value for money and is only a few pounds more than the base game on its own. The game plays quickly enough (3 rounds taking 20 - 30 minutes) and my 8-year-old picked it up on the first round. The game is very tactical and winners are usually the team that co-operates best. I think that the game is great fun, especially for kids that enjoy the bluffing and deduction aspects. Despite accommodating low player counts well (we often play with just 3 or 4), the game is definitely better in my opinion (and more chaotic!) with more folk in the game, e.g. 5 - 8 players.

Great little card game where players are lay down cards in order to mine treasures. The game cards form tunnels and players try to get through the tunnels to hook up with some treasures on the other side of the table. This may not sound so exciting but 1 or more of the miners may be working against you trying to stop everyone complete the tunnels. Will you work out who the rogue miner is? will you get out to the exit treasure. This version of the game contains bith the original game and the 1st expansion so a nice price for this fun quick game.

Great card game to play with friends or family. i have never ha so much fun with playing cards before. My friend owned saboteur 1 and we loved it so i bought this which includes 1 and 2 in one pack. if youve played number 1 then grab the second pack. if not then grab both for a great game at a great bargain. You can either play saboteur 1 or play saboteur 1 and 2 as 2 is an extension pack

This game is a ton of fun and really easy to pick up. We haven't played the expansion yet but played the base game a few times already just after it has arrived. I can see this getting to the table quite often.

I have played this game at my friend's place and I loved it. Best to play with many people since it is a bluffing game and can be hard to discover who is the saboteur. I would say this has tons of repeatability and most people will enjoy as it has a low learning curve. This pack also contains the first and second one which is a nice combo in one pack.

Really great game! If you're playing with new people, stick to teaching them the rules of Saboteur 1 first, as there are quite a few new rules in Saboteur 2. It's not a difficult game to play by any means, but there are a lot of cards which do different things which can take a while to get your head around.

Fun game for family and friends! I'd recommend sticking to Saboteur 1 (the original game, although this includes both) with large groups or new players. The additional cards don't seem to add much to the gameplay aside from complexity.

I love the game, I love the packaging! This is totally worth it if you've never even played the game, the second expansions adds a completely new flavor that is an entirely different way to play with so many different roles. I just wish this was on amazon.com, it would be a lot more attention over there.
