Tidlo Wooden City of London Figure of Eight Train Set

Brilliant Product. Very please as my 4 year old son loves anything to do with trains. Plus also can connect with Biro and Ikea train tracks. I have spent a fortune on trains over the last few years as my son must have a fully functioning grand central station by now. For the price and quality of the product it's excellent. Also if you like London it takes you through all the sights including the eye and Buckingham palace. Very colourful and well made. Plus they do international shipping, which was completed in 4 days. Very pleased.

I seldom get around to reviewing the things I've bought online but I think this little train set deserves a special mention. My son is 2 and we bought this for his second birthday. We opened it the other night so it would be ready for him when he woke up and I was hugely impressed. There are loads of pieces to play with and they are well crafted and sturdy. It genuinely is an absolute bargain. My son really likes Thomas but the wooden Thomas tracks are quite overpriced. I also looked at brio train sets but again you don't get much for your money. We chanced upon this set on amazon and I honestly can't recommend it enough. We've bought a few wooden Thomas trains to go on it to keep our son happy but he's spent most of the time playing with the wooden bus that comes with this set. If you're thinking of getting a wooden train set, look ye no further x

We bought this train set for our 22 month old son for christmas. We were so pleased with the design and quality and he loves it! Such a novelty from the standard train set design and very well replicated. Fits together with an existing Melissa and Doug and Brio set no problems. Only comment would be that we have tiled floors and some of the pieces have chipped slightly but a bit of care in use and storage and I'm sure it will be fine. Our 5 year old loves it too, a great family gift.

Bought this for a young friend (3) to add to his existing (Ikea) layout. We took him to London and saw a lot of the landmarks in the days after Christmas (when he got the present) & he had a great time spotting places as well as trains, buses and taxis etc! He loves getting the train set out and naming the landamarks and getting the layout right. Lots of happy play anticipated.

Bought it for my children (3 years old), but I enjoyed it more. Well made, very nice. I believe they will appreciate it more after they visit London. The children of some friends, who were 7-10 years old, loved it. Only problem: it needs to stand on a really flat surface, otherwise the little parts fall down (trees, buildings etc), which frustrates the children.

I bought this for my 20month old nephew and essentially ruined christmas for everyone who gave him a present after this one. He LOVES it.The pieces are a great size for little hands and he loves the BT Tower especially. Lots of scope for different layouts and games, and we can always add more track and trains ad he gets older.

I bought this wonderful train set as a gift for my son's birthday. Unfortunately the train set has only been out of its box for less than twenty four hours and I've already discovered two small chips out of the wood one two different pieces of it.A shame really as I think it's a unique set.

This was a present for my grandsons 2nd birthday. It is perfect in every way and he loved the added London landmark extras. The chunky transport pieces are perfect for small hands. It is both colourful and robust........ A great train set with added extras and good value for money.
