I am delighted, it does everything I want it to. . .
Before I sing its praises a word of warning: It does not come with any printing paper or cartridges, you need to buy these seperately and the one I use is: Canon KP-108IN Ink and Paper Set for Selphy CP Series Photo Printers. This contains 108 postcard size sheets and the cartridges to print them on this machine.I am delighted with my new Selphy CP1000. It does everything I would want it to do, given that I only want 6x4 postcard sized prints and it is tailor made for this purpose. The prints I would describe as being highly satisfactory, alright, if you were to hand your prints in to a professional lab, you would get (hopefully) a more definitive result but you would also pay significantly more for it and wait considerably longer, with the Selphy you get your prints right away and I find the quality to be better than many online labs which process prints from your upload and mail them to you.I will turn to the questions raised by many about the machine not being compatible with Windows 10; it is easy to overcome this, as I do all the time, you upload your photos to whatever software you use and I use Windows bog standard own now that Picassa has ceased, do your editing then transfer your results to a standard USB flash drive (an 8gb flash drive holds lots and they are under £3 if you scroll for them on Amazon) I only need an 8gb since I load up a dozen photos, print them, then delete them from the flash drive and start again. The Selphy accepts USB flash drives perfectly. I also use an old, but superb and reliable Olympus camera which uses xd picture cards. The handbook states that the machine accepts xd picture cards but they cannot be inserted without an adapter and I haven't tried this since I find it better to edit my photos on my laptop first then transfer them the flash drive which is so, easy just drag and drop. There are basic editing functions on the Selphy. Some have been disgruntled by the prints having perforated edges which have to be torn off after printing. I have no problem with this, they tear easily and the perforations are very fine, almost indiscernible, but even if this troubles you, you can easily trim the edges. The prints emerge dry and are very long lasting, they fit snugly in a 6x4 pocket type album.I like it and I am glad I bought it, arrived next day by Amazon Prime. I accept that if you are a pro photographer and want ultra high end results or need large gallery sized prints, this will not be for you, but for most general purposes it is fine.

Worked perfectly for a print-as-you-go printer for a wedding photo booth!
As per the title, I had this set up with some software called "DSLR Booth" alongside a Logitech C920 HD Pro USB 1080p Webcam and this green screen/lighting kit: Photography Studio Softbox Kit for my DIY photobooth at my wedding. Worked perfectly, the prints are very high quality and not too expensive for the paper/ink sets. The size of print is great for sticking into a photobook - we had people stick them in a book and write messages alongside. Now we have a book full of photos of our (drunken) friends and some lovely (and some hilariously inappropriate) messages to remember our wedding day.Switching the paper and ink is also really easy - we left some basic instructions and our wedding guests sorted it out as they went along. The prints do take a little while to come out as it does each colour in turn (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow - can't remember if it then does black separately?) and for each colour it prints it, pushes the paper out, then pulls it back in to do the next, however we found that it was not a problem because people take a long-ish time to get set up for photos etc. and also don't mind coming back in a few minutes if needed.Recommended!

Printing in Progress....
Bought this as a birthday present for my (elderly) dad who takes pictures on his small Nikon point and shoot, then can't do anything with them because he has no computer to download them to and can't be arsed to go to Boots that often to get them processed (and can't work the machines in there without help anyway). Thankfully, this home printer was ultra easy to use - we opted for plugging the camera in via a cable rather than trying to remove the SD card with trembly old fingers. Print options could be easily selected from the camera screen, no need to use the printer screen if you don't want to, and it was literally just one or two clicks to get our photos printed out.The printer takes one piece cartridges, so you can't replace individual inks. A 3 pack of cartridges and 108 sheets of paper are around the £20 mark. Please note, this model is not supplied with any paper or ink up front. You load the (separately purchased) paper into a plastic tray which then slots into the front of the machine. There's another slot in the side for replacing the cartridges. When not in use the slots are hidden by plastic flaps, so it all looks nice and tidy and streamlined and compact. The paper is standard 6 x 4 size, glossy finish, and has white side boarders which you can remove after printing by tearing down the perforated edges. The printer works by laying down different colours over separate passes - ie feeds the paper back and forth a bit like when a photo copier does a double sided print - yellow first, then red I think, then finally blue green. You get natural looking slightly subdued prints - no Fuji greens or Agfa reds here, but I quite like the subtlety myself. The print quality is fine, though obviously not lab quality. The photos are immediately dry and ready to pass round.I think this is a great printer for the money, small, portable, easy to use, and most of all provides instant gratification!

Canon Selphy CP 1000
Cannot fault. Works well so I am very pleased. My one gripe is that for the price this printer should include all accessories, no iffs or buts. Canon, get it sorted!
