These cutters are actually one of my favourite in the toolkit for cutting! Usually I do everything with my standard pliers including stripping. Tried these and there just to sharp and damage the inner sheath. Can be careful but cold pvc is tougher and still cuts into the single insulators. Perfect for cutting through cable even 6mm was a breeze. Overall id get another pair as they do come in handy for meter tails to

I was sceptical of using combination electrician's pliers but after using this it's winning me over. The usual Knipex quality shines through and I can't fault the engineering or finish. In use the cutting blade is sharp and produces clean cuts. On T&E cable I found it very easy to do a partial cut just sufficient to score the outer insulation without damaging the individual wire insulation. The cable stripper function is very clean and efficient. The slim plier tips are partly smooth, becoming ridged further down, and offer good grip and agility. The crimp is basic but functional. The thumb operated lock mechanism is easy to operate and prevents the pliers springing open and closes the cutting edge whilst leaving other functions usable. Overall, these are comfortable to use and perfect for anyone doing electrical work day in, day out.

Amazing tool, has made my electronics course so much easier for doing installations. Quality and comfortable to use for the whole day.

Very good product and good value for money 💰

These are a great all in one tool for building PLC panels, as you can do the majority of wiring with just this tool and a terminal driver, easy to use with all of the options, very sharp cut right through all cables (i've cut up to 6mm with ease) Knipex always have a nice comfortable grip and seem to be long lasting as i've been using them for over 6 months without issue. A very versatile product, although expensive it works out cheaper than buying everything they can do seperately!

The wonders of this tool are well rehearsed and needn't be repeated here. It's well made and works well, covering a lot of bases. I bought this particular version due to the much-needed price advantage, but money no object I'd prefer it without the spring. I've seen it going for silly money though. It's a nice tool but anything over £40 is just silly.

Brilliant tool I use this everyday

These are not inexpensive, but they are really well made. I have used them to cut through 70mm welding cable and it sliced it cleanly with ease. Wire strippers are useful and they have lots of leverage for holding and manipulating wire. These will last for years unlike cheaper products.

Un alicate muy robusto y funcional, como todo lo que hace Knipex. Esta marca es más cara que otras, pero como he dicho en otros análisis de herramientas Knipex, te aseguro que vale cada euro que pagas. En cualquier caso, siempre se puede aprovechar alguna oferta (yo lo compré a través de Enchufes RTC que tiene unos precios muy competitivos y la entrega fue a domicilio a través de Nacex y sin gastos de envío, y no es habitual encontrar un vendedor externo tan serio y fiable en Amazon). Volviendo a la herramienta: materiales y acabados de gran calidad, desde el mango bicomponente, antideslizante y AISLADO A 1000V (certificado VDE) hasta el cuerpo de acero forjado y templado al aceite. Este modelo dispone de un MUELLE DE APERTURA AUTOMÁTICA (existe otro modelo sin este sistema) y un pequeño TRINQUETE DE BLOQUEO, para mantener el alicate semiabierto (se cierran los filos de corte, pero se pueden usar el resto de funciones de manera muy cómoda). Es un alicate multifunción con un diseño muy compacto y bien pensado: aunque lo más destacable son las funciones de CORTE (limpio y sin apenas esfuerzo) hasta un diámetro de 15 mm (5 x 2,5) y agarre (bocas planas esbeltas para facilitar el acceso a zonas estrechas para AGARRAR O DOBLAR, con una zona lisa y otra perfilada) también dispone de dos orificios para PELAR CABLE (uno de 0,75 a 1,5 y otro de 2,5), se pueden ENTALLAR PUNTERAS de 0,5 a 2,5 (que te puede sacar de un apuro) y además puedes usar el canto de las bocas para DESBARBAR Y ENSANCHAR orificios (de cajas de mecanismos, por ejemplo). Otro punto que considero importante es que NO SE OXIDA, a diferencia de mi anterior alicate de boca larga Stanley Fatmax, que se oxidó completamente a la semana de tenerlo en la maleta de herramientas. En resumen, un alicate magnífico pero con un precio que puede disuadir a algunos, aunque RECOMENDADO SI ERES PROFESIONAL. Espero haberte ayudado a decidir si es lo que buscas o no, pero te aseguro que no te arrepentirás de su compra.

Die Knipex Elektro Installationszange habe ich als Ergänzung zu den standardmäßig verwendeten Konglomeraten an Zangen für die gleichen Aufgaben gekauft und bislang noch nicht im Ansatz bereut! Die Verarbeitung und der erste Eindruck sind hervorragend. Die Zange wirkt äußerst solide und hochwertig gearbeitet. Sowohl die Metallarbeiten, als auch das Aufbringen der Griffe oder auch die Griffe selbst, sind spitzenklasse. Keine Grate, keine Fehler, makellos! Auch nach längerem Einsatz zeigten sich daher absolut keine Ermüdungsspuren oder Einschränkungen der Funktionalität. Das in Relation hohe Gewicht (276 Gramm) sollte ggf. angemerkt werden, aber da hier mehrere separate Zangen ersetzt werden, ist dies für mich nicht weiter relevant. Zudem stört es, zumindest bei mir, den Arbeitsfluss nicht. Dass die Zange nicht für Feinarbeiten gedacht ist, sollte bekannt sein ;) Die integrierten Funktionen erfüllen alle weitgehend ihren Dienst und lassen sich wie vorhergesehen nutzen. Im Detail mag ich hier nicht drauf eingehen, da der Rahmen dafür nicht ausreichend ist, aber wer Bedarf oder Interesse hat, wird wissen, wofür sie gebaut ist. Insbesondere möchte ich die Schneiden erwähnen, welche so manch einem Seitenschneider Konkurrenz machen. Ebenso sind die Greifflächen durchdacht konstruiert und ersetzen im Regelbetrieb ohne Probleme eine Spitzzange o. Ä. Ein kleines Manko gibt es jedoch: Das Abisolieren und Crimpen ist ohne Probleme möglich, wird aber von separierten Werkzeugen besser erledigt. Daher würde ich bei diesen beiden Funktionen, sollten sie öfter gebraucht werden, ggf. bei gängigen Konzepten bleiben. Die Arretierung der Zange mit einem mechanischen Hebel funktioniert ohne Probleme und erleichtert die Arbeit ungemein, da hier keine Sorge vor versehentlichem Nutzen der Schneiden bestehen muss, wenn mal blind gegriffen wird. Insgesamt ein nahezu perfektes Produkt, welches nur zu empfehlen ist. Tatsächlich werden alle angepriesenen Funktionen von dieser einen Knipex ersetzt und bis auf die genannten Ausnahmen ist hier auch eine echte Gleichwertigkeit zu einzelnen Produkten zu attestieren. Hinzu kommt die bekannte Qualität, sodass der Käufer sicher sein kann, dass sie bei normaler Pflege lebenslang halten wird.

C’è poco da dire. Knipex è uno di quei brand che non ha bisogno di presentazioni. Qualità alta, precisione, maneggevolezza. Il prezzo é sicuramente alto nonostante l’ho acquistata con un piccolo sconto, però sono quelle cose che compri e dici “ah che figata”. Se sei un professionista del settore secondo me è uno di quegli strumenti obbligatori da avere in borsa.
