Homecraft Opticare Eye Drop Dispenser, Easy and Safe Application for Elderly or Disabled, Green

Ordered on behalf of my 94 year old Dad. His initial reaction was 'it's not all that good' but he'd only tried it once. After about a week I asked him again how he was getting on with it. 'Oh, it's great' he said, 'gets the eye drops in every time with no problem'. I reminded him that he'd said it wasn't all that good and he admitted he hadn't really given it a chance! Now he wouldn't be without it! No more eye drops running down his face and being wasted; one drop dispensed straight into his eye with no fuss or mess. It is expensive but as far as my Dad is concerned, it was well worth the money and he'd recommend it to anyone.

This product is quite an expensive bit of plastic rubbish! However, MORE disappointingly it is a clumsy "aid" in dispensing eye drops. When squeezed, the liquid POURS out of the bottle. It is NOT an efficient appliance. PLEASE DO NOT WASTE VALUABLE MONEY ON THIS!Contacted the supplier, Clarity Pharmacy, but have had no satisfactory response back.

Good instructions, fairly easy to use. I was put off by several negative reviews but went for it anyway. The secret is to keep your head tilted well back, as though you were lying down! My 87 year old mother has sussed it out quickly.Only negative is that it doesn't seem too sturdy. It's quite expensive for what it is.

My wife was fed up with putting in my eye drops every two hours so I thought , without much hope , of looking for a dispenser - what had I got to loose so I ordered one . I mean If it didn’t work I hadn’t wasted much - it’s bloody amazing - quick, well made and work’s an absolute dream - whoever designed it thought of everything- now it’s straight in correct every time after a few trial drops - AMAZING JUST BUY IT

Excellent service from this seller. Got this for my 91 year old mother and 82 year old aunt, both use different eye drops on a daily basis. Great idea but not for people with arthritic hands.

The item seemed simple enough to use, till I tried to use two different make's of NHS prescribed eye drops! The containers were simply too big for this item! Now I have to start all over again to find a UNVERSAL type dispenser...if such a item exists...!??

Works well with Maxidex and Acular 5ml, NHS prescribed, eye drops.Just makes it easier to hit the same spot every time without worrying about poking yourself in the eye when close focus is too blurred. Just follow instructions and lean head right back so that the bottle is vertical before squeezing out a drop.

A vigorous squeeze on the product produced much more than one drop. This is unsafe with some medication where more than one drop would be harmful. Fortunately, on both attempts it completely missed my eye anyway, despite following advice to tilt head back. If there is a better way to use this device then the instructions don't tell you anything helpful. I threw it away after second attempt as I didn't want to risk getting too many drops in my eye. Don't waste your money on this.
