Great barrel jointer
Love these jointers. Great value for money. Instead of buying replacement barrels it’s just as cheap to buy a new jointer. Use these all the time for repointing and pointing of brickwork and block work. Leave a great finish

Great jointer, doesn’t last long
Leaves a really good finish and is fairly durable I used the biggest barrel for about 4 months before i realised it was completely worn out. Would be better if it came with a few more of the big barrels instead as that’s probably the most commonly used one. For the money not bad.

The professionals choice.
Being a bricklayer for some 30 yrs or so, I find this tool a must for any professional builder out there. Having tried all the alternatives to this instrument, it was a pleasant revelation when I was introduced to it by a Canadian friend of mine (although he did own the 'original' Hubbard version of which I have found it impossible to buy online!). These tools last longer, give a tidier finish & are much more versatile than, say, your usual jointers (without naming names!)& because of these factors I can't see me ever returning to my previous jointer of which I used without fail for 27 yrs, which just goes to show the strength of feeling I have for this innovation. But don't take my word for it, buy one & try for yourself, the worst thing that can happen is that you end up £10 out of pocket! (which is a small price to pay for such a device!!) feels great in the hand.
Great weight and size. This little tool is just spot on with a fine hand, feel and grip. The way you can change up the tip is pure joy. Used to grout a large patio and gave great results. Sweet deal.

Great rubbing bar but the bars wear down pretty quick and I don’t think you can buy spares. Great finish on brickwork though
