Works well but poor adhesive.
A simple and cost effective way of adding a comfortable light source indoors or out. If you can solder, then it can be cut to length and each section wired separately. The adhesive on the tape is simply not strong enough to hold the weight, especially at the wired end. I found it necessary to use double-sided Sellotape (carpet tape would probably be better) to make it stick reliably, plus superglue or a tiny cable tie to hold the wired end securely. It's 12V so safe to use pretty well anywhere so long as you mount the transformer sensibly.

Perfect for replacing fluorescent striplighting
Perfect for replacing 'under-cupboard' fluorescent fittings. The surface to which the LED strip is to be fixed *must* be spotlessly clean otherwise the adhesive will not stick reliably. I decided to use self-adhesive mini-trunking - by sticking the LED strip to the lid, I was able to conceal the wiring and also fit a miniature SPST switch. This also allows for easier repair/replacement; should a strip or individual LED fail, I only have to unclip the mini trunking lid in order to work on it, rather than struggle underneath the cupboard at an awkward angle. I've also made up 5 similar assemblies using the 'cool white' version strip from the same supplier; these are destined for fitting to an engineering workshop ceiling to complement the existing standard 60W fluorescent tubes. In both cases, the intention is to allow continuous operation at significantly-reduced energy consumption.

Warm white (ish)
The dimming system works very well. As another person commented, though these are described as "warm white" (and says so on the packaging) they are actually nearer the cooler end of warm.. or the warmer end of cool.. whatever, they are certainly not as warm as the non-dimmmable led strips that I have. If this is important to you you may want to bear it in mind.

I got this to replace the lights in the back of a transit van, and they work brillantly. Just peel the tape off the back and stick it to the side of the van wall, unclip the existing light and insert the wires, job done. Now at night i have daylight in the back of the van. Product arrived promptly, in good condition, and works excellently.Product 5/5, seller 5/5, price 5/5.I will be buying more, i would recommend.

Great lights, not so good stick - 12 months on - 24 months on
Works well apart from the double sided sticky tape - hence 4 rather than 5 stars.Great brightness and colour when fitted. However, 12 months on they are substantially dimmer and have gone very yellow - enough for my wife to complain about them. My application only used about 2 metres of the 5, so I can refit to get another 12 months, but I would rather have something that lasted longer.24 months on, have just replaced again. Completely changing the kitchen this summer so won't need to mess with these again.

Excellent!
Very good.Does exactly what it says.Got it for under-cupboard lighting for the kitchen.1m+ of it was enough.Very bright.Only annoyance was that it came with a plug instead of a 2-way wire so attaching a driver was not straighforward as I was afraid of damaging the wires if I had cut it.

Very good thing
It was little stinky in first time, but after 1 day is ok. Small problem with soldering, but I can recommend.Glue is strong. Fast delivery.

Great Under Kitchen Cabinets
Ideal for me to cut to length and fit under kitchen wall units. Used with a couple of transformers above the units and connected with some cable off amazon to connect the transformer to the led strip.
