Corsair CO-9050061-WW SP Series SP120 120 mm Low Noise High Pressure RGB LED Case Fan with Lighting Controller - Black (Pack of 3)

Avoid along with anything corsair. 4 fans and commander pro purchased, 3 faulty fans and faulty commander pro. Raised a ticket with corsair - no response, posted in their forums and got nothing but corsair fanboys telling me my setup was wrong - it was not. I was then banned for ointing out their attrocious QC and customer service. I swapped the commander pro with another new one to double check and the 2nd was fine but the fans still faulty but the pwm controller in the faulty commander pro appears to have damaged my pump. So if you want crap customer service, dealt with by fanboys instead of staff and a 90 percent product fail rate on delivery along with corsair's attrocious product pricing structure then buy corsair. Otherwise buy better and cheaper- just irritated because I need the pwm features of the commander pro or every corsair product in this build would be returned.

I purchased this when wanting to add and exhaust fan to my Crystal 570X RGB case thinking it would be a case of plug and play unfortunately this was not the case as the Crystal 570X RGB only has an SP Lighting Controller and the HD120 Requires and HD Lighting controller which is not supplied with a single fan so in my case a further purchase will be necessary, it does mention that This product is intended as an expansion of the full kits that include the RGB LED controller on the Box itself but unfortunately didn't mention it anywhere before I placed my Order otherwise I would have went for the one that comes with said controller. These fans are fantastic however 2 out of 3 of the fans make a buzzing noise sometimes,I believe this is due to the build quality.

The media could not be loaded.  I built a pc for a younger family member who loves lighting effects.It really does illuminate the entire case from these two fans and the effects they can do are impressive.What concerns me is the quality of the controller and the inability to turn things off from outside the pc case. only a shutdown does turn the leds off as they are connected to sata out.Sometimes a cheap looking controller can last ages but i think at this cost they could have made the system better by selling the two things separate and making the controller a bit more tidy and turn offableFans are better quality than those that you find already in cases for cooling/extraction and work as fans without the lights connected.

From the rating my review seems like I'm telling you not to get these, which is not what I'm trying to say. The fans look amazing and I disagree with people saying they're too bright. However the installation process was horrible for me with the screws sent with them being very cheap and a few of mine slightly broke making them unusable. 2 of my fans out of 4 are held by 3/4 screws. Also the wires are long enough to connect to most of a mid-tower case, but not long enough to hide across the edges of the case so my PC has wires hanging everywhere.I'd recommend getting these fans but be weary of the horrible installation process and maybe get extension cables.

Stunning looking fans, especially fitted in the corsair 460X glass case.I bought an additional 3 fans to make a full set of 6 in total. Running at 60% speed (which is what I've set them to in my motherboard utility software) they are relatively quiet, but do get noisy at full speed, however with 6 of these in a case with good airflow it shouldn't be necessary to crank them up past 60% unless you're doing major overclocking

Never buying a Corsair fan again. The screws are too big to fit in the holes, you would either have to have a drill to fix the fan or extremely strong arms. While trying to get one screw in, the top of it was so damaged that it was close to being unusable, had to get it out or it would stay a long with my fan in the PC forever, or would have to somehow break the frames of the fan.

Bought the 3 pack w/lighting controller and then bought 3 single packs of the fans in two different orders so all my pc has RGB corsair fans. Its worth it, they are fast and effective, easy to install which I say as not a super tech person, just need a Philips screw driver. Just wish I could control the lighting effect another way rather than opening my pc to get to the lighting controller. However it does have many different lighting effects.
