Description: The white mulberry (Morus Alba) is a tree smaller than its red relative and can reach a height of 10-20 meters. It originates from northern China but today is cultivated almost all over the world. The fruit is very sweet but does not have the strong taste of red or black berries. White mulerries are a rich source of nutrients such as vitamins C and K. They also contain a sufficient amount of dietary fiber. They can be eaten on their own, in muesli or granola, smoothies and juices, as a garnish in yogurt or oatmeal with nuts, in recipes for muffins, cupcakes and puddings.
