Coffee for one? Perfect solution!
This coffee press is the perfect size for a mug of coffee, or less if you want to (but not more, so be aware). Easy to wash (by hand or in the dishwasher), easy to fill, and easy to hide in a cupboard as it is rather small, just perfect. The glass seems sturdy enough, has been knocked a couple of times and still standing! Pour a heaped spoonful of ground coffee using the supplied spoon, pour the boiled (not boiling) water, stir, leave for 4 minutes, then press the filter down. Perfect coffee awaits you.

Great coffee
This was smaller than I expected. I should have taken more notice of other reviews. My fault! It makes one mug of coffee, presumably the three cups it states are espresso cups. However that said, it makes a great cup of coffee. I notice reviews of other designs say that some of them are difficult to clean. This was a replacement for a broken identical one. It’s a doddle to clean in the simplest design. Would get another in the larger size - that way i can make myself and someone else a cup of coffee!!

Reliable Brand
Good design with strong glass and well-fitted plunger. Unlike other brands I've bought in the past the plunger fits and doesn't allow boiling coffee to squirt out at the sides. The grounds stay at the bottom of the jug because they have been filtered properly. I still think these are expensive but that's probably because of the reasons I've already given. There is an annoying & unnecessary red plastic logo sticker on the glass (when the logo has already been printed onto the jug) which can be difficult to remove but comes off with rubbing alcohol. It arrived very quickly & came boxed with instructions and wrapped securely.

Good quality and good value
Bodum is a reliable brand and this item is much better quality than cheaper alternatives. Perfect for a single mug of coffee for me or two smaller cups. The price is good value for a quality brand

Does the job
I foolishly bought this size which turns out to be fairly small. This is the first coffee thing ive ever bought hene didnt really know what size to buy. It says something on the box about it being 3 cups worth i think. You can get one cup out of it max. Its a little hard to clean as the coffee goes everywhere but someone told me to put most of it n the toilet and that has helped. Also the seal of the plunger isnt that flush to the sides so some coffee granules slip into the coffee itself which is a bit annoying (course ground) but it is cheap and does do the job. Hard with no reference point but next time i would defo buy a bigger size

Stylish and easy to use.
I have had this particular model of Cafetiere for a number of years. When I broke my original one. I was gutted. So pleased to have found exact model still in production. Perfect size for my morning coffee.

Bodum French Press coffee maker
I am normally an instant coffee drinker but I bought this after reading that just 1 cup of espresso a day can guard against dementia. I only pore half a cup and fill it with hot water and milk, so it is not too strong and gives me 2 cups altogether..
