This product contains carrageenan!
Please be aware that these omega 3 capsules contain carrageenan, carefully described as “euchema seaweed”, I chose Nothing Fishy (The more expensive option) primarily because they were the only omega 3 that didn’t list carrageenan in the ingredients, I have just been made aware that’s where the euchema seaweed come in, I have just started my 4th lot of nothing fishy before finding this out. However having said that I would rather take carrageenan that animal gelatine any day AND they are the only provider that Ive found that use a fully reusable glass jar (clearly where the extra expense come in) as opposed to the non recyclable plastic blister packs that most other suppliers use, so I will most likely continue using this product for that reason! @nothingfishy please be more clear with your ingredients so your customers are fully aware of what they are purchasing!!!

Anything which contains EPA does not suit me and makes me worse so I was looking for pure DHA only supplement ..
so finally this is vegan DHA only supplement. I have tried many omega3 supplement before including, EPA only, DHA/EPA supplements in which DHA>EPA and EPA>DHA and even plan based ALA. Anything which contains EPA does not suit me and makes me worse so I was looking for pure DHA only supplement and I have been taking it since Mid March. Though I do not see any positive results yet however as such there is no negative result as well so I hope in long run it will prove beneficial.Only suggestion - it will be better if dose can be higher ie for ex: 500mg because for vegans who are generally deficient in Omega3/DHA, it may server as a maintenance dose in long run but in initial run to increase blood serum level, I heard higher dosage are needed ranging from 500mg - 1g.-----Ordered it again. A very good quality supplement. The Only suggestion is if this can be provided in higher dosage as well.

The jar is nice and softgels had a neutral smell
The jar is nice and softgels had a neutral smell, smaller than some similar products and easy to swallow. NothingFishy also provide a subscription service for these, which is a nice concept. I liked the product, but unlikely to buy again because it only seems to contain DHA and not EPA. According to a few sources of independent advice, Omega 3 supplements should contain both, which some other algae based supplements provide. There's a lot of conflicting advice out there in this respect, so difficult for average consumers to know what's best and whether supplements make much of a difference. If the product were updated to contain EPA as well, I'd buy it again.

Environmentally sound!
I love the packaging - arrived in a little box with paper packing. The bottle is glass with a cork lid which both easy to recycle and are such a refreshing change from plastic and foil. My only quibble is that the cork lid on the bottle was not sealed, so the buyer cannot be sure the product is not tampered with. So far though, the gels are fine - the taste of the algal oil is as expected. Overall a good product

These are easy to swallow (I often have a problem with larger capsules) and great that they're vegan and packed in a very environmentally friendly way. It would be perfect if a cheaper refill pack was available made from biodegradable cornstarch though, as it would be a shame to have to keep recycling the jars. They would make great spice jars, however...but only so many if I was to keep taking long term! Please consider as it's a very expensive way to pack and there are similar cheaper products available.

It's difficult to leave a review about the quality of a capsule like this when it's not really easy to see it's effects. However, I get no after taste with the capsule like you can with fish oils. Additionally I like their matte texture because they don't feel greasy or slippy as I've experienced with other brands. Finally, the package size is convenient as it means I have to order them less often. My only suggestion would be (as others have mentioned) that the company offer a refill packet. The glass jar is adorable and easy to open and close but if I order these again I would feel the packaging is wasteful. Recyclable refill packs would be a massive incentive to buy these capsules again over others offered on Amazon.

Beneficial for Dry Scalps and Hair
I took a DNA test which said I have problems dissolving fats but yet lack in omega 3's. Since taking these lovely vegan tablets I have noticed that my dry hair is becoming more greasy. This is heaven for me as my hair is dry and brittle and the grease is making it lovely and soft and healthy. Everyone is commenting on how nice my hair is looking. I have only been taking for a week but my hair/scalp is now functioning as it should and I am very happy. You get one bottle with 60 tablets.

Great supplements in eco-friendly packaging
Great supplements. It's good to get omegas from a sustainable, non-fish source. I like that the packaging is not plastic and fully recyclable. Unfortunately when you order two they come packaged in separate boxes (when 2 could easily fit in one box) and are sometimes even sent in different packages (sometimes in an environmentally-unfriendly plastic padded envelope). They are also quite expensive.
