Sony 1303 6194 Dk60 Docking Station In Black

I have always bought the Charging Dock for all my Xperia phones (the XZ Premium is my 4th) and they are, as always well made and up to the job.You don't NEED one of course, as many people have pointed out (well you don't need anything really except food and water !) but I find they are very convenient.When I have bought any phone (I have had too many to count now) I always buy 3 things : Official Case, Screen Protector (Official ones if they are available), and a Charging Dock.You can buy cheap alternatives I am sure, but in the early days I have fallen foul of doing that, so it is best to get the official stuff, why pay £650 for a phone then buy a £10 case, and docking station ?There habe been a couple of comments about the cost, well if you want to go down that route, try Apple, then you WILL have cause to complain, and I would be the first to agree then.So why this.. well it supports the phone well, and has a small footprint, it also contains 3 adaptors, although I use the one that first when you can put it in with the cover closed on the phone, that way you can also put it in with the cover open as well if you so desire.You can almost pop it on the dock without thinking as it located very easily in the plug on the dock.Whether you buy one or not, is like everything, a personal decision, as you may or may not need it, but all I will say is that I am 100% delighted with it and glad I bought it !

Excellent tool if you use your mobile has much as me! Very stable docking station, quick charge which is a great bonus! Good value for money.

I got this accessory for my new Sony Xperia XZ premium, and it fits just fine on it. It is a bit pricey for what it is, and does not even include a charger or, even worse, a cable. However, keeping the phone standing up while charging is nice, so it is worth it to me. As soon as I placed it in the table it immediately got glued to it (I removed the plastics covering the glue without knowing), so I just hope I can get it off nicely if I need to.

Quite surprised with quality this time around from Sony.I've had both the DK30 and Z3 compact and loved the combo. It is for that reason I picked up the DK60 for use with my XZ1 compact. However I am not entirely pleased this time.The XZ1 is a very tight fit in one of the larger brackets bundled with the stand. The phone does not sit snugly and squarely all the way in the groove so that the weight is spread actoss the base of the stand. Instead, the phone flexes back on the USB Type C connector. Precision engineering is not needed but this is an obvious flaw/oversight or just Sony trying to make one product fit for all.The base is lightweight but it has a grippy/tacky underside that counters the weight up top when the phone is inserted. I can see this failing soon.All in all, for the price I am wavering as to whether I will live to accept this for the next few years. Put simply, I'm not immediately convinced as I have been with Sony in the past.Frankly, I would have liked to see the old magnetic connector back even if it was a little Marmite to some.

Good charging dock but as expected with something from Sony you pay more.

Sits on my desk very well without any issues. The type-c connection makes it easy to dock my Sony Xperia XZ even with a Style Cover Touch case. Displays at a nice angle so I can see everything at a glance and has a small footprint. Not the cheapest dock but this just works.

Complete and utter waste of money. Will not fit the Experia L3. Use the plug and lead instead.

At nearly £30 this is a very expensive small piece of plastic that does not adequately support my 6" Sony XA2 Ultra phone (brilliant budget phone that looks premium btw ) despite this being the recommended docking charger. Perhaps for a smaller USB C handset, this would be okay. but seriously and ridiculously Overpriced! As usual, Amazon offer a no-hassle return - I chose to return within 5 minutes of opening :(
