Replacement Remote Flip Key Fob Case Shell Fix Compatible with Corsa Vauxhall Astra Vectra

This is a perfect replacement key fob for my vauxhall corsa - You do not need to even get a new key cut as others have done - read below -It does not come with any instructions so here is what I did -1. Take apart old key (Original needed pliers to pull plastic apart as it was very tight. Just pry sides apart carefully and eventually it will come apart in two pieces.)2. Take original key and knock retaining pin out. (I used a small panel pin to tap the pin out all the way. Save retaining pin.)3. My key end needed filing down a few mm as it was slightly longer that the replacement. (compare the retaining end of the uncut replacement end with the original and make sure they match.)4. Slot original key into the new retaining holder of the new key fob. Make sure the notch for the pin lines up enough and knock the retaining pin back through. (I used the original retaining pin and it worked fine.5. Place circuit board into new key fob along with battery contacter and battery into other part of key fob. Assemble key with button and spring. (I used the original spring as this looked better than the one that came with the replacement key fob.)6. Make sure both ends of springs are seated in notches and wind spring up 1-2 revolutions and clip together.7. Test spring and locking of key. - Done.Very good quality replacement and works perfectly.

following on from my previous review, you don't need the the punch as you can change the key part without it, my previous post was incorrect apologise. So far the press button doesn't come up might be me, there is a plastic bit that should fit the recess on the circuit board but it's in the wrong place for mine (Meriva 2011) so just cut it off. The key wont close without the whole thing popping open not sure why. The electronic part works fine and can open and close the doors perfectly, can live without the key closing

My current key has been falling apart for a while and i have put it back together a number of times so i was confident i could swap over the component parts including the spring tensioning so that the key flicks out properly, however, when i tried to do this with the replacement key case, the metal key has grooves in the wrong place (only a small amount) which stops you actually assembling the key case.I didn't want to go to the trouble of getting the key re-cut and was led to believe by the product description that swapping the blade was an option ... (The key is uncut and needs to be cut to match your car by local dealer or swap the blade with your original).So this was of no use to me as my blade did not fit.

This states its compatable with astra key. Very misleading as we wanted swap the original cut blade and the coded internal board.When we tried to replace the key blade and flip mechanism they were slightly different and not comparable. The only way we found was to knock the bin out of the base of blade to separate it from the flip mechanism and do the same to remove the blank blade and the swap just the rectangle piece of blade banging the pin back in like on watches.The next biggest issue was getting the spring mechanism back to gether and working...This entailed lining both end of the spring into each side of case in grove guides the without losing position winding the top side of casing in to full circle to load the spring and quickly push the casing sides together.If you wind it the wrong way it will damage and stretch the spring.If you put the spring in the wrong way round it will not spring open but will spring half shut from open posion on pressing the bottom.Overall once we had spent probably an hour or more fiddling with it and getting very annoyed with sore fingers we did it.And it has save alot of money getting a replacement from a dealer or auto locksmith.Last point to make we phoned a few auto locksmith asking if they could just cut the blank blade we had..... they all refused saying it might damage their machines.So it is possible but just very fiddly.

The spring release in my keyfob went and it was going to cost nearly £100 from the dealers to have a key cut etc. Decided to see if there were better alternatives and found this one at 10% of the cost. Basically, you need to do a little bit of work to fit the key to the fob but there is a good video that you can watch on youtube and it solves the problems. At this price it's worth a punt. When compared side by side with the original, quality wise etc couldn't tell the difference. Brilliant. Had it for some months now and still working fine. I have a Zafira model B on an 09 plate.

Easy to open and swap the guts over.

I ordered this key fob to replace the broken Vauxhall flip key fob for my 2009 Zafira.There was no screw in my Vauxhall Zafira fob.To avoid damaging the electronics I carefully inserted a large flat blade screwdriver into the gap at the top of the closed key pivot point and prised the casing apart, released the key and held it halfway to expose a gap under the key pivot point inserted the screwdriver and prised casing apart.swapping the blank (uncut) key for my original key.Unfortunately, the new release button wouldn't fit my original key as it only fits one way. As there was no way around this, I visited a local car key (auto locksmith) who cut the blank for me for £25.The key will NOT start the car without the electronics even though it functions normally to that point.Once cut I was able to swap the circuit board and battery into the replacement fob, marry the spring, button, and case halves, turn one half of the casing 360 degrees in the direction I wanted the key to open and press the casing halves together.The new fob does have a screw which I fitted once I was happy with the key function.I covered the screw with a new Vauxhall badge that I also bought via Amazon. I removed the 3M protective tape and pressed it firmly into place. It did distort the badge slightly but I'm happy with the overall look etc.The photos I've included are of the replacement fob with the newly cut key etc.

Il guscio è ben fatto io ho sostituito la lama con quella vecchia, il montaggio con pazienza e manualità si riesce in poco tempo, il risultato è ottimo

Très bonne coque de remplacement, démontage et remontage facile pour installer le circuit imprimé, par contre la lame d'origine ne monte pas dans la coque, il faut la faire refaire chez un clé minute, ça vaut 30€.Pour un total de 38,50 € j'ai une nouvelle clé qui fonctionne parfaitement, quand on sait que chez Opel il ne font pas de coque et qu'il vous propose seulement de refaire clé + télécommande pour la modique somme de 115€.

Eccezionale, come sempre Amazon è il top per velocità di consegna e serietà.Il guscio chiave in questione è veramente eccelso, dopo aver provato vari involucri che avevano vari problemi (tasti non centrati, molle chiusure deboli, meccanismi farlocchi) ho trovato questo spettacolare prodotto e con esso ho riportato le chiavi a nuovo, forse meglio delle originali.Veramente spettacolare, lo consiglio a tutti senza ombra di dubbio.

Il faut faire graver la clef car l'ancienne clef d'origine ne s'adapte pas. Sinon le boîtier est de bonne qualité. Je retire une étoile car j'ai contacté un serrurier pour graver ma clef et il m'a prévenu qu'utiliser une clef gravée qui ne vient pas de chez Opel pouvait endommager le neman à force. Donc prudence ...
