Meraki Go Indoor WiFi 6 Access Point | Cloud Managed | PoE | Cisco [GR12-HW-US]

So I bought two of them, of course I couldn’t put them far away from each other because my home was smaller than I thought. It works great, I have about 7-10 devices connected to it at any given time, one gaming, three streaming, cameras, laptops (video conferencing) and phones. I don’t experience latency, my ISP seems to be more of the culprit for any lag. I like that there is a NAT option so devices don’t have to talk to each other on the network, great security feature for a device like this. You can see what sites are visited and which devices have done so, the name of the devices do not carry on through, so if you name a device in the app, it doesn’t copy it to the other AP. I wish there were more management options, like disconnect this device rather than block it entirely. As a plug and go, it does the trick. I have it plugged into a switch and use a PoE injector, which does the fine. I had the other one about 40 feet away, on a PoE switch, which also worked great powering on and working. For the value of it, I’d say it’s definitely worth it for SOHO. I don’t have to pay for the app or the use, it’s all free in that aspect.

I swapped out my old Open Mesh with 4 of these and I am glad I did because my wireless has improved. Setup was easy, they weren't overly expensive. I have 3 running at APs and 1 mesh. I have not had any issues.

It’s Cisco, what else can you say? It’s a fantastic product. I love the fact that it will tell me when it loses connectivity remotely. I know that my clients are down before they do. It’s never the Wi-Fi that went down. It’s always something else. These are rocksolid.

I've been a user of Cisco products for years and they've always been extremely reliable, but this is Meraki Go Router GX50 is a complete waste of money. 1. Port Forwarding: Its VERY unreliable. For the last month i've been trying to get an issue resolved with the ports automatically closing on their own and the only way to reopen them is to set factory reset the router and reopen all of the ports, just to have them close all of the ports 10 minutes later. 2. Tech Support: They do not offer tech support by phone. Its only provided by ticket system. I've waited up to 5 days for a response to a ticket and the response was a generic response. It then took another 6 days for a response, which was asking for information that I provided in the original response when I opened the ticket. in total it's been 29 days and I still haven't been able to get this problem resolved. The tech support is unresponsive and hands down the worse customer service experience i've ever encountered. I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone. There are other companies that offer a very similar product and actually support their customers. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT. IT'S NOT WORTH THE HASSLE OR THE MONEY.

Installs fast and configures easy. The cell phone app loses saved sign-on info after updates. Paired mine with a MerakiGo firewall device with PoE ports to power this unit. This is so much better than a mesh.

I have 4 of them they work wonderfully. Easy to setup poe and easy management.

Unlike the other Merakis that I love, these work without a subscription so way better value. Lots of features and Cisco quality.

Cloud management app is very good and gives exactly what you need. I have 4 set up on 2 commercial floors meshed via Ethernet. I’m running 3 wifi networks from these Meraki APs, a private network, a public, and one restricted to IoT devices. Cool thing is I can choose which APs can broadcast what Wifi network. Will definitely buy another if needed.

今回は３台（３フロアー各１台）をGX50と接続して使用してみましたが、接続も安定しています。 PoEで電源供給できるので設置が楽で助かりました。 取付プレートも便利でしたが、金属製なので電波強度に影響しないのでしょうか？ （もともと壁面に設置する想定なので問題ない？） 面倒な設定も不要でメッシュ接続等もしてくれるので素人としては助かっています。 今後 数台追加したいと思っています。

店内にfreeWi-Fiを提供するために購入。ログを見ているとパスワード設定していてもフリーライダーがいることに驚愕。店のアクセスポイントをお客様に開放するのに少し抵抗があるならこの手の商品はお勧めします。

シスコなのにこの価格でビジネスモデル！？ と思って買ってみました。 悪くはないのですが感動もない。まぁ普通にいいものかなという感じです。 ・wifi強度はそれなり。asusのビジネスモデルと比べてちょっと劣ってる。 ・でもasusのより安定している（いまのところ）asusも経年前は安定してたのでまだ評価できない。 ・管理アプリはいろいろやろうとするとわかりにくい。へんなとこが多機能。 ・でもリモートで監視等できるのはいい。 ・設定自体は簡単 ・PoE対応は神 一番のがっかりはwifiの届く範囲がいまいちというところですね。 無指向性アンテナみたいですが、アンテナありのasusに劣ってるのが残念。

パケット優先制御が有効になっていると通話や動画関係のパケットに優先度が付与されますが、このパケットはNTTの光回線だと排除対象のようで付与されると通信できないらしい。 調べた限りではパケットの優先度はそれ用に契約がなされていることが前提でたとえばひかり電話やひかりTVなどで使われているようです。 ですのでHGWの手前でルーターやUTMなどでパケットからそれを削除してやるか、このアクセスポイントのパケット優先度設定を切ってもらえば（これ、アプリからサポートの依頼が必要とのこと）治るとのこと。 ただ、最近のファームウェアかどうかは不明ですが優先度設定が設定メニューにあるのでここを切ってあれば問題は出ないかもしれません。

初期設定をするとうまくいかないので、サポートに連絡したら、別の場所で既に登録済みの為、認証が降りない旨返事が来て、使い物になりません。 到着にも1ヶ月ほどかかり、この始末です。
