Super simple to install and great for video calls.
Instructions are very poor, but the installation was so simple it took 5 minutes once I was able to figure out the tiny pictogram on the 3" by 3" inch installation sheet. Immediately made a video call after downloading the software and it worked beautifully. The camera captured my entire living room very clearly so several people could join in the conversation on my end. Well worth the price.

DO NOT BUY
I have a year old 2k dollar Samsung TV and bought this camera for video calls. When you plug it in there is 0 support and no apps that it runs on. Essentially if you are buying it for your TV... it doesn't work. Got on the phone with Samsung support, they even remote controlled my TV and told me this camera was pointless. Unless you want a fancy tv ornament do not buy this.

This is GREAT
I placed it by my sound bar to have a leveled view, and I loved it, now I can use Google meets without living in my living room, and with my tv splitting, I can multitask, though late delivery, but an excellent quality product, easy plug, and play installation.

Way overpriced: poor image quality for the price
This webcam is UVC-compatible so you can use it as a normal webcam (and not just for your Samsung TV), but the image quality isn't very good so I'm not sure you'd want to. The only thing this product has going for it is the magnetic attachment, which is nifty, but not worth $90. You could buy a good 1080p60fps webcam for $30 and just clamp it to your TV instead. Here's the USB device info:usb 1-4.4.4: New USB device found, idVendor=04e8, idProduct=20d3, bcdDevice= 8.21usb 1-4.4.4: New USB device strings: Mfr=1, Product=2, SerialNumber=0usb 1-4.4.4: Product: Samsung SlimFit Camusb 1-4.4.4: Manufacturer: Alpha Imaging Tech. Bad choice - DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY
Samsung wants us so much to be able to utilize our TVs in different ways. One is connecting this camera made specifically for the smart TVs to interact with. It's a great concept but that's just it. It's a concept. I got one and sent it back immediately. After downloading everything putting it onto the TV you find there's no more chat, there's no more video interaction, unless you have someone that has a Samsung smart TV to get back with you and even then doesn't work. You can get a Dr Web app but good luck on that because they don't take a lot of insurance. Maybe you want to use it to work out, but at that it's not what we pay it cell phones for. just trust me don't bother. It's a waste of time. It's a waste of your money. It's just a waste in general. Samsung needs to do better if they want me to spend money or tell others it's worth it. Because right now it's not worth it.

Terrible Support. I expected more from Samsung. 4 stars for the camera, 0 STARS for Samsung Support.
The entire reason I bought this camera is because before I purchased it, Samsung said it worked with MS Teams. Well apparently that's not true, and while trying to get it set up in a conference room yesterday I had to call them THREE TIMES because rather conveniently their support people kept disconnecting me. Also, each call I made, they sent me to the wrong department, SEVEN TIMES, until finally I said to hell with this crap, put it back in its box, and returned it. The last guy I was speaking to told me it worked somehow with SmartThings, but then conveniently he pulled a disappearing act after telling me that and hung up on me too. Then I tried setting it up with SmartThings, but in the end, this camera cannot be connected with Teams because it needs to be detected by the software on the desktop, and that's not possible if it's connected to a TV set. The only positive thing I saw was that the camera worked immediately when I connected it to the TV, an image popped up and the picture was fine, and since Google Meet was preinstalled on the their brand new Samsung TV that might have worked, but the customer is paying for Teams and so they opted to use that. That's why I'm giving four stars for the camera because it did work well from what I saw of it, but NO STARS for Samsung support. It's bad enough I had to call them back three times because they kept disconnecting me, but being sent to the wrong department seven times? That's unacceptable. And you know, I even TOLD one of them that they kept sending me to the cell support department by mistake, she said she would transfer me to the right department, and you know what she did? She transferred me to HER same department, basically pushing my call onto someone else, clearly because she had no answers and didn't know what to tell me or how to support the camera. Ridiculous. Samsung: Get your support act together because it's absolutely terrible.
