BistoFavourite Gravy Granules 450g

I'm guessing the item (450g container) was out of stock, but with no fuss, the seller (ISE Forest Garden) simply sent me 3 of the smaller (190g) containers at no additional cost. I am very pleased with this turn of events, as it means extra gravy for the already-lower-than-elsewhere cost.Product arrived very nicely and tightly packed, in perfect condition, all the way from Ireland to Washington state.Plenty of Americans love brown gravy, so I don't understand why instant granules like these are not readily available here. American gravy typically comes in a can, or in a packet that requires cooking with careful heat control and constant stirring, and no ability to make a little more or a little less than what the packet directs.Bisto instant granules are so quick and easy to make, and I can make as much or as little as I want. Using them in the U.S. makes me feel I'm a lucky member of a club that most Americans don't even know exists (and those on the other side of the Atlantic might be dismayed to learn of): the I Can Have Delicious Gravy Whenever I Want Club.The gravy tastes delicious, too; just a typical savory brown gravy. My teenage son literally picks up his plate and licks it clean. I just wish we had more access here to the plethora of other flavors I saw in supermarkets in England, like chicken, curry, cheese, onion, turkey, pepper, sausage, etc.

This stuff is great to have on-hand for a quick gravy fix when you have rice or mashed potatoes, but no gravy. It’s hard to believe, but there is no meat in it, so it’s suitable for many different types of diets. Easy to make, and very good.Very popular in the UK, but not so easy to get here.

GRANULES ARE EASIER THAN USING BISTO POWDERTHE BEST - INSTANT GRAVY

The only problem I have with this Bisto is that I need to add a touch of Marmite to give it more flavour.

As long as I have made gravy for beef, pork, lamb or chicken - seventy years - I have included Bisto along with broth and and meat juices. No-one has complained yet!
