This is a nice addition to my small trailer.

The best

Had no problems even in the high-speed pulling a car right up onto my car dolly but I would recommend before using unspooling the cable and running it through one of the side holes and tying it down to itself and then, of course no one reaches the instructions. Make sure you oil or grease your cable before you use it.

What I wanted

Don’t know how this thing is rated for 3500 pounds when the handle snapped off like it was nothing the very first time I used it so I moved the handle to the other one and that snapped off like nothing. This winch is a piece of crap.

Well made it is a great quality hand winch i've already used it to pull a heavy lawnmower out that weighs close to a 1,000 lbs and it worked like a charm i highly reccomend this product!

Decent quality winch. At this price point it has a couple of significant flaws: first is the exposed cable end on the side of the drum and second is that to change gear ratios you must unbolt the handle and move to the second shaft. Both were deal breakers for my needs.

The mechanism works well, but the included wire rope does not work well on the reel because the rope is third-rate quality and the center spindle of the reel is small and causes the rope to bind. I plan to replace the wire rope with a better quality cable to fix the problem
