Heavy Duty Product and Customizable in Length
This product has a "professional" grade starter suction pump which is very large and seems very sturdy without the need of using plumbers tape as the fit is very snug. Make sure to put on the tank clip prior to installing the siphon hose onto the siphon because it is a very tight fit and you cannot pull off the hose without a tool wedge. The 50ft hose helps quite a bit and is extremely lengthy; however, this product is easily adjustable by simply unscrewing the hose adapter side, cutting the tube, and reinserting the adapter back in as when it screws on, it grips the hose a bit. so if you do not need 50ft, you can simply adjust it as I did because I only needed a 35ft hose - excellent design and consumer-friendly by the way.The only issue I have is that the siphon is smaller than I expected (about 9" - 10") and works fine to empty water from larger tanks without draining them but this is not for use in a 55-gallon+ tank because of the length, especially if you have marine predator fish.It also does not really allow me to clean the gravel from my 55-gallon tank but only allows me to drain it, which caused a drop in stars (I need to purchase from a third-party a proper 20" siphon vacuum head).All-in-all the product would be 5-stars for 45 gallon aquariums or under, unless you just want to drain a larger tank without going too low then this product is a proper purchase. The product ships in its own box within an Amazon box and the shipping box is pretty sturdy that allows zero rattling or breakage. The price is good for this product because the product is very heavy duty as opposed to other models. I would recommend this product.

Works great.
Works great and great price! The hose is long enough to it run outside so less bother!

Works perfectly
Product worked perfectly for my 10 gallon fish tank. I have a shower head that is a 3/4 male thread and it screwed on no problem and the lump worked good. If it dosent work I just lifted it up and pumped it and it did the trick. It kinda drains slow but it’s no problem for me. Definitely a game changer and recommend!

Nice gravel vacuum.
I used the Laifoo siphon today. I like how it hooks together. seems safe for long turn use of going back and forth between filling and removing water. I pumped the pump maybe 10 times to start the siphoning, And it works fine. The tubing is about one-third that of the python. so it takes 3 times longer. But that is not a big deal to me. It is nice not to waste as much water as I use to with the python. "you have to turn the cold water on full blast to use it for removing water! You can sometimes disconnect it from the sink and let gravity take over, and run the water outside, but I lost my suction 1 out of 3 times I did that and had to start all over... Possibly user error? The sink attachment doesn't fit my sink, so I did not use the Laifoo to fill my tank, But It should be fine after a trip to home depot.

Great siphon!
I never leave a review, but this siphon was worth it. Water changes for my fish tank used to be a long, heavy process. Now, it is easy-peasy. I can drain water directly into the tub and fill it back up by connecting it to the shower thread. The first time I used it, I experienced some leakage when trying to fill the tank back up. HOWEVER, I learned that I did not push the metal piece far enough into the green plastic. Put the metal piece into the green piece BEFORE hooking the metal piece to the water source. There should be NO space between the metal and the green plastic. No leakage since then.10/10. Worth every penny.

I found the implementation a poor build
I like the idea to use this to do water changes and then refill the tank I think they did a good job thinking through the connections but for me I found it unusable and quite possibly due to the fact I have a larger tank.this might be okay used on a 10 or 20 gallon tank but the vinyl hose is too small in diameter to drain a larger tank as it takes too much time and not enough flow rate through the hose.I also had kinks in the hose during use several times just due to the weight of the water in the hose. these Kinks just compounded the lack of water flow and being able to use it.another minor issue is the siphon pump is a little too weak when it comes to priming the siphon. I think a more stiff bulb would help compare to the thin plastic used.for me and my larger tank I think I will attempt to build my own using 3/4 inch hose with a flow valve to regulate how fast the water gets siphoned out.I hate to give this product a bad review as I like how they implemented the quick connectors and adapters with a siphon bulb but I think it's a case of you get what you pay for and I would gladly pay double for something more robust and faster evacuation of tank water.
