Handy great pot
Like it and it come handy for a two to three people dishes. Give foods extra nice flavor and hot all the way until the end! It is a bit sticky and hard to clean sometimes.

Works Well Except for its Useless Lid Grip
I like it for what it does well, which for me is retain heat after I dampen the inside and microwave it a little. What I do not like is the handle on the lid, which seems made more for looks than practical usage. The lack of a sufficient "ridge" on the grip leaves it susceptible to slipping out of my fingers so I end up lifting the lid from the edge and using two hands. I own the "medium" and "large" versions of this bowl as well and it's still a problem even on the lighter-weight lids.

DIY Bibimbap Enabler
After our local favorite place for getting Korean hot stone bowl bibimbap closed, we set out to begin making our own at home. I bought four of these and have used them now about a dozen times as I've begun our home-spun take on Justin Chapple's "Hobo Pack Bibimbap" recipe available on Food and Wine. These bowls are heavy and well-made; the top fits on well. I've washed them by hand and also in the dishwasher..easy to clean provided you put a little oil the inside before cooking. Impressed with these. Quality stoneware!I usually start these (incl cover) in a cold oven and bring them up to 450, assemble the bibimbap in the bowl as Justin suggests doing in the hobo pack, cover with the lid and give them 12-14 min back in the oven to cook the spinach, carrots and pork and then finish up on the stove top (med-med/low) for 3-4 min to crisp up the bottom of the rice bed. The final step is cracking the egg and a big swirl of gochuchang and serving.....love this stuff!!!

Love this
Love this for stews/soups for winters since it keeps things hot for a long time. Only wish this came with a base so that I'm not burning through my oven mitts while I'm eating out of it

The bowl is broken when I open the package. I bought this with another item. They were delivered in one big box with a few air bags. The other item is big enough to fit box, but this bowl and its package can roll around. I think it's damaged during transportation.

Four Stars
Boyfriend made eggs this morning with it. Tasted ok, the eggs stuck to the sides a bit.

These are pretty small, but that may actually be a good thing to keep portions reasonable. They work excellent for dolsot bibimbap. All you have to do is put the rice in the bottom and cover with all the other ingredients. Then put the lid on and set the pot on a gas burner set to low for about 5 minutes. Let the rice sizzle for about a minute or two depending on how crispy you want it, and then carefully remove from the heat. Easy and delicious!
