Authentic product?
I'm just not certain I got an authentic product. The can had some drizzle from braising on the lid. Not something you'd see if it was machine done. The finish seems right from all other appearances, though this is my first go with this product. I like the results, and I'll use this product on anything I want a nice light amber clear coat on. I hear the shine goes away after the ridiculously long 30-90 day curing. Looks really nice, but you will see everything separating your product from fine art due to clarity of the finish.

Excellent Product
This sealer is great! Watch the videos they have for application, get the applicator they recommend. Give a light sanding prior to use, clean with a tack cloth, and you will get a flawless, smooth finish! Wish I had found this years ago!

AMAZING WOOD PROTECTION
This sealer is simply fantastic for any wood project. We used this on a restoration project of a 1903 wood porch. The sealer brings out the color and texture of the wood like magic! This can go on any natural wood flooring (after sanding). They use this sealer in the White House. The sealer alone will work if no UV protection is needed (it is a little bit more durable than the finish). If you need UV protection, then the Waterlox Marine Finish should go on top. I can not recommend this product highly enough. We also used it on some brick in the basement, brought out the red of the brick like magic also. A++++++

Don’t waste your money
This product is simply inappropriate for marine use. Cannot be used in high humidity, direct sunlight, typical marine conditions. Misleading promotion

Exceptional Quality
In years of doing wood maintenance and projects I've found nothing that comes close to Waterlox quality. It's a time consuming process as you really do need to wait at least 24 hours between coats but the maintenance afterwards is a walk in the park. I highly recommend their products especially if you have an exterior surface to treat like does, shutters or gables.

JUST THE THING
Im using this in my new construction to preserver the wooden stairs up the main living area of the build during construction, and to add a level of protection against water to the underlayment for a vinyl plank floor. Even the contractors have asked me what I use and where I get it. Its quick and easy to apply multiple coats and we can tell that it is protecting the wood from water with heavy contractor traffic.
