Works great. When using the large metal attachment pad
Works great. When using the large metal attachment pad, it blocks the phone from being charged. Will barely hold when my phone is in its OtterBox case without larger attachment disc, but larger attachment disc blocks phone from charging.So it holds phone well even with OtterBox (and large attachment disc) but have to remove from OtterBox to charge. No real biggie to me. Would recommend. Bought one for my wife as well. She loves it.

Adhesive Failure
Amendment to Previous Recommendation:My first effort with Suoer glue failed because Normal Super Glue will not glue metal to glass. I then used Locktite Glass Glue and it worked perfectly and has held. Great concept for using an iPhoneX in your car.Previous Recommendation: This is a cleverly designed unit that works just as advertised but the 3M supplies adhesives fail when they get warm. I used Locktite Superglue Ultragel Control to hold the ring onto the iPhoneX and that worked for a while but then failed.Once securely in place it works perfectly, does not bounce, and is a very good product. The 3M glue on the silver metal dash mount has not failed, but the 3M glue on the black metal dash mount did fail. The grill connector system, which is not dependent on glue, works perfectly.

Ok Car Charger With Some Issues
I used the magnetic base to secure it to my dash. It comes with 2 magnetic stickers so I put one in my car and the other on my counsel in my truck.I like the fact that you can just put your phone on this and it will charge, but there are a couple of problems with this.It charges very slowly. It won't keep up if your talking or using maps.Next problem, as some have mentioned, the metal rings used to stick on the back of the phone, don't stay stuck. It's a thin ring with not enough area to stick very good. I was able to just put the metal ring between the phone and phone cover. This worked, although, using this method, you can only use a thin phone cover. I tried another cover that was leather and it would not hold to the magnet.At night, I lay it on my wireless Ihome charger. even though this charger says not to have any metal on your phone, and I have the metal ring for the car charger still on it, it still charges.

Purchased shortly before Christmas and been using it for a couple of months and besides having to RMA one that didnt work from the start it has been working great.I bought 2, one for me and one for the wife.Used with LG G6, Samsung Note 4 and Note 8.

This was fantastic except for one issue
This was fantastic except for one issue, the magnetic ring won’t stick to the back of my iPhone X. I did a 2 stage prep to the back glass area of the phone, I went through both magnetic rings in 2 days, it won’t stick to the glass. Hopefully the seller can provide a solution because otherwise I love it.

Charges iPhone X wirelessly and has strong magnets for mounting.
Got this for my wife's X5 and it works really well. Strong magnets and the included metal ring allows wireless charging. My wife has an iPhone X and it mounts and charges very well. I like the fact that it included a cable, car charger, and metal ring for the magnets. Last and most importantly my wife really likes it.
