Has settings for 8 types of meat and 5 levels of doneness stored in the thermometer, Has a stainless steel cord to with stand the heat and read the temp Also has a timer on it. . Simple to use and good quality , very nice .

I finally got a chance to use this.I cooked a roast today and slipped this inside to watch the temp from the outside.It worked perfectly and the alarm sounded exactly at the right time. Thanks!
