Worked fine immediately with the enclosed remote, and with the Hao Deng iPhone app (though I had no luck with another app that's claims to be compatible). It's only about 18" long, and the mounting brackets are plastic and don't look that strong (you could easily replace them with some other brackets if you want). I wanted to use these inside, but for that I want the light less intense and more spread out -- these are so bright you don't want to look at them.

These are really great lights. They're plenty bright and you've got all the colors.

Installed on my covered porch. I bought them for the warm white color. The rest of the colors are limitless. I only wish you could control these lights with a remote in addition to the app on the phone.

bought these to upgrade my DJ stage lighting, my older LED floods have IR remote and very crude color program controls. the phone app is easy to use and lets you choose from many programs or create your own custom ones. also the microphone/music function works well. it would be nice if these were metal and glass instead of all plastic but that does make them lightweight. hopefully heat buildup will not be a problem. the only open questions now are durability and longevity. otherwise these are pretty much perfect for inexpensive non-DMX stage lighting.

Bought total of 8 of these. The app works great! They are only a basic wash light. Nothing over the top but works to add some color to our stage. An upgrade they should consider is plugging them into each other….

These are pretty easy to setup and use. I love the easy way to turn all the lights to warm white and then colors

My use for these lights is not to wash my walls, but rather to wash my trees. Have tried for several years to illuminate two large spruce trees in my yard with some green or blue lights, everything falls short for lack of brightness.These don't fall short in the brightness department.The connectivity is Bluetooth not WiFi so there's a zero percent chance I can use my Feit electric app to control, which would have been cool. Plus Bluetooth on Android requires location permissions, supposedly for our own good, which is annoying.But the app they come with is competent to allow you to control these either individually or as a group. They do remember what color they were last time they were on, so you can use with an external timer or light sensor control without having to set up color ever time they come back on.Mounting options: screw it to wall, screw it to deck, that's it. Since my use would be best served by a stake light and these don't have stakes, I'll mount each to a pice of 2x4 and stake that so it doesn't move around.All in all a nice light for its intended purpose.

Perfect for making a small party and have diff moods

Not exactly what i was looking for...i was looking for party / event lighting...this is more like architectural lighting...it was blindingly bright...too bright for what i had in mind

I purchased a pack of four, in hopes of being able to work them all at the same time. With the app, as soon as I have connected one, it boots another out (saying it is offline), only allowing for me to work one of the four. I have tried resetting, deleting, reconnecting, etc., to no avail. Also the bluetooth range is only about 15 feet. It drops after the phone is any decent distance away. Going to play with them a bit more, but unless I get these to all be connected, and work at a decent range, I am going to have to return them.
