Absolutely wonderful product... Misleading case color
We just received this item Friday, Aug 24th. The product seems to be well built, actually a little heavy, but that is a good thing for this type of product. The weight is in the base to keep it from being top heavy while the iPad is in the case. There is no need for any kickstand or wonky case folds to keep the device upright. As a new device, the hinge is pretty stiff, so, again, you don't have to, annoyingly, worry about it shutting or falling open on you. We definitely appreciate that it can fold completely closed. Some devices we've tried do not fully close while the iPad is in the case. Turning Screen on/offThe iPad automatically goes dark when closed, so users do not need to do anything extra. When opening, the iPad goes straight to the lock screen, at which point, you can either use the keyboard to unlock, or use your finger on the screen to swipe, type in passkey, or your finger print on the bio-metric scanner. If you wish to turn the iPad screen off, but keep the case unfolded for future use, the keyboard has its on lock button. The keyboard, once connected (see below) can also manage the brightness of the iPad screen. Linking the keyboardThis was a breeze. Once you have the iPad in range (in the case), simply go to your bluetooth settings. (Your friendly cable guy says), Make sure your Bluetooth is on. The keyboard has a small button above the power toggle, essentially, the moment you hit that, the keyboard shows up on your device to be connected. Select it and Viola, you are ready to type to your hearts content. Back-lit keysFor those that like typing in dark places, the back-lit keyboard is great. The 7 colors are vibrant. There is even better functionality with 3 brightness settings. Nice touch. Functionality of swivelThe 360 degree swivel is great, as well. I am picky when it comes to 2-in-1 laptops that keep the keyboard exposed while in tablet mode. With swivel, you do an about face with your iPad and simply fold it down over the keyboard (at this point, I would still turn the keyboard off to save the battery). The keys are protected from any potential snagging on desk corners, fingers, or other stuff. And for me, at least, it is a lot more comfortable on the hands while holding the device. When going to "tablet mode" make sure the on screen keyboard is set to come up when you need to type in a search engine, URL, or small notes. This key is found on the keyboard above the numbers. It looks like a small keyboard. This is a convenient tool, because when you are actually using the keyboard on the case, this allows the onscreen keyboard to stay hidden, but again, it is actually an on/off key for that onscreen keyboard. Biggest drawbackWe ordered the Rose Gold case. This is a little misleading calling the case ROSE or GOLD. The case is definitely brushed pink. This could be an issue with actually being able to paint in Rose Gold, but to advertise as such is misleading. ConclusionThis is a great add on to your iPad device. It is sturdy, functional, and easy to use out of the box. I have already recommended it to other friends and colleagues who are looking for such items, just NOT ROSE GOLD. If anything changes in the next couple months, I will update this post. But, for now, definitely make this a buy for yourself or as a gift.

Case is awesome
I love this case! Although the Apple Pencil slides right out of the holder, if you take off the cap of the pen it'll fit with the cap for the holder. I just leave my Apple pen in a pencil case and it's not bad. When I first got the keyboard, two of the keys did not work but I contacted the seller and they were happy to send me a new one in return for the one not functioning entirely. I was super sad about the keys but I loved the case so much that I was willing to deal with it, I'm grateful that the sender gonna is gonna swap it for me!

Sleek stylish design, simple to use, and very convenient!
Who doesn't prefer typing on a physical keyboard? With this thing you can basically turn your iPad Pro into a laptop. The keys feels nice, much like my actual laptop, where you can solidly feel when a key has been depressed and it springs right back when released. The top row of keys are special keys, such as media control, volume adjustment, brightness adjustment, etc. I think most people will be happy to have those available, but I probably won't use them too much. Why? You may think I'm a loon, but I actually got this to use with my Mac mini, not to use with an iPad Pro.I primarily use a Windows PC and laptop for development but when developing iOS apps I use my Mac mini. Normally I use a program called Synergy which allows me to use my Windows keyboard without even unplugging it from my Windows PC, but sometimes I find myself needing to use a Mac keyboard either because Synergy didn't start properly meaning I would need to type in some configuration info to get it started, or because I'll need to press the Command or Option key for something and I never remember what the corresponding key is on a Windows keyboard. Before I got this fantastic little thing I would have to keep my Mac keyboard connected, which would either get in my way or if I tried to put it somewhere out of the way it was inconvenient to access and would accidentally have something press against one or more keys causing strange things to happen. With this sleek-looking wireless keyboard I can keep it turned off when not in use, keep the lid closed when I'm working on the Mac but don't immediately need the keyboard so nothing accidentally pressed on the keys, and open it up when I need to use it. Plus, I can set it basically anywhere I want without worrying about the cord reaching or getting in the way.It charges with a micro-USB cable which is fantastic because I've got a couple of those already hooked up to charge various devices. It comes with one but I didn't bother trying it out. The outside of the case is matte black with a rubber-ish feel, very similar to an old Android case I used to have. There are four rubber feet on the bottom which prevent it from sliding around. The lid can open up a complete 180 degrees or set to be anywhere in between, and it can be rotated a full 360 degrees. So if you're using this with an iPad Pro but you don't want to use the keyboard and just want to use your iPad as a table you can rotate and flip so that the keyboard is hidden behind the iPad.Above the keyboard area there are three LED lights, one CONNECT button, and one ON/OFF switch. The LED lights are labeled CHRG, BATT, and PAIR. I had no problem pairing this with my Mac mini; the user guide lays out the process for connecting to an iPad with colored pictures and important areas circled in red. Pairing to my Mac mini was similar to what was shown there but I didn't need to enter any pairing code, it just connected. If this didn't work out for me I was going to give it to a friend who does have an iPad Pro, but it works great so I'm keeping it. Sorry, friend! I know I'm using this in a manner different from what you are probably looking to use it, but I hope my review has been helpful to you nonetheless. If you think I missed something or got something wrong, please let me know in a comment.

glad i purchased this
As others have mentioned this is a pretty heavy case and adds a bit of bulk to the otherwise thin ipad pro. That is the main con. The pros are many, the keyboard lasted on its first charge a week for me, which is nice. The viewing angles that the case will hold the ipad at are great. You can rotate and fold the screen. There are shortcut keys on the keyboard that are pretty useful just like you would have on a laptop. I think it is pretty nifty. It makes the ipad pro seem more like a little laptop now.

Works well
The base is a little light so it has a tendancy to rock if the display is tilted right back.Otherwise works great. Good for the price
