Like everyone that sees this product, I was skeptical that any "pasta in a bag" would be any good. But the truth is, I hate boiling water on my old stove and getting up to stir pasta, etc. So, what the heck, it was worth a one-shot order to find out if this impossible concept of microwave (and already fully cooked) pasta might actually be worth eating. Well, guess what, it's not only acceptable, it's fantastic.BARILLA Ready Pasta is not only great tasting, but after two mins in my 700-watt microwave, it's perfectly cooked. Just heat up some sauce (or toss it in a salad) and you have perfect pasta. Kind of like some 70s "man in the future" cartoon come to live.I'm a good cook, but I'm also a lazy cook. One pot cooking is my favorite thing. What a joy it is to cook this in the microwave and then just stir it into some sauce and be done. Melt a little cheese over it, you're done. You can have dinner in under five minutes. Thank you Barilla!

Carrying big pots of water between sink and stove can be difficult physically as we age, so I am happy to pay extra for pasta which comes precooked al dente. Add butter or olive oil, garlic, and grated Parmesan cheese, and microwave one minute for a quick snack or side for one or two people. Also very handy for spontaneously throwing together a pasta salad or casserole with whatever's on hand, or adding last minute to soups.

These precooked microwave pasta packages have been a game changer for me!!! They’re honestly better than any pasta I cook on the stove. They are consistently perfect in terms of flavor and texture. No worries about over/under cooking. And so freaking quick/easy to prepare. Just tear open the top so it can vent, pop it in the microwave for 60 seconds and that’s it... perfectly prepared pasta just like that!!! As far as value for the money... if I consider how long it takes to boil the water, add and cook the pasta, strain it, wash the pot and strainer, then clean my stove from where I turned my back and it inevitably boiled over... this is a no brainer.

The good points are, they serve one large portion or two regular. They cook ( in microwave) in 60 seconds. You can then just add whatever you like and make a meal quickly,The not so good points are: you HAVE to remember to squeeze the contents before you open/vent to cook or it will just come out as one uncooked glob. There are no real reminders on the package to do this. When it is done cooking, it looks nothing like noodles you buy in a box and add to boiling water. They do not expand, they are not fluffy and light and they have this unappetizing brown color. I have seen it suggested that is because it is wheat or multi-grain but I have bought boxed whole wheat and multi-grain and it looks nothing like this.It is fast to make. If you can get past the appearance, it is filling. I guess it just depends how good you are at doctoring up pasta to taste good.I only use it in a time crunch these days.

I love my pasta but I’m also lazy and a terrible cook. I ordered these so I could have a quick pasta dish when the moment struck. I’ve had one so far and of course it’s not as good as fresh but pretty comparable. I added some ranch tuna in with it and had myself a fairly tasty snack. I would order again.

Showed up within a few days after it was ordered ,perfect condition ,no damage at all.Id buy it again,having only a microwave and air fryer to cook with,this is a lifesaver.... wouldnt say its as good as fresh pasta but its a good substitute when cooking options are limited..serving size is decent for a single adult,so you cant beat the price.

Quick and easy meal. Just microwave. The flavor of the pasta is good and fresh. Good portion size.

First use was good. let it sit for 5-6 months. Threw it out.
