Beautiful piece
I added a Lazy Susan to the bottom of this beautiful piece. It’s made a wonderful addition to my kitchen table.

Very sturdy
I used this as the cake drum/plate for a wedding cake I made. It was very sturdy and held up well. The cake didn't slide around at all and I didn't feel worried about picking it up and moving it.

Listed as 0.5” thick but is 3/8”.
This is beautiful wood. We’ll milled, but not to advertised thickness.

A wine bottle shaped cutting board or a Catholic school paddle?
I bought this to go with a wine/cheese themed gift, and liked the shape and size--it is nice for a small party, to serve up some great cheese or veggies to a few people. The cutting board is light weight--moreso than I'd have liked. It is only about 1/2 inch thick. The funny part of this is that while it does look like a wine bottle, if you turn it upside down or sideways, it looks EXACTLY like a disciplinarian's paddle, which makes for some really FUNNY jokes (especially after you've had some wine at that wine and cheese party).I don't think I'd buy this again. I think next time I'll go for a heavier one, and one with some sort of design that implies "wine bottle" instead of "paddle". haha

Nice Looking and Does the Job
It's a cutting board, after all. No mysteries here. It is only about 1/2" thick, which was thinner than I expected, but this does not affect performance at all. In fact, the ironwood is extremely hard so there probably is no need to make it thicker.

Really great piece for the price! Highly recommend
The media could not be loaded. Highly recommend this. Use as a trivet to protect counter from scratches etc under a spinner utensils container. When I need to grab a cutting board to do quick dice or slice or chop? Voilà, there it is. Video review for more details.
