I purchased the 8x10 in slate. First, it's a pretty rug and relatively soft. That's where the good stuff ends, however. The color is just blue, not slate, so if you're looking for a true slate color, this isn't it. The first thing I noticed when I unrolled the rug was that it left a coating of something on my hands. A lot of rug backings aren't exactly clean, so I ignored that. I laid the rug out in my living room and arranged the furniture at the edges, etc and spent the next week in misery because of the off-gassing. I tried everything to get rid of the smell. Finally, I figured out a place I could put it outside. It was outside for 3 days. I brought it back inside late yesterday and here I am 24 hours later with a miserable sinus headache, runny nose and a house that just reeks from the off-gassing. I've never come across a rug like this. Do NOT waste your time and money.

Very happy with this purchase. Even though the description was ivory, the photo looked much more white, which is what I was wanting. I am very happy with the product that arrived. It's a light grey that fades to a white. It fits great in my modern grey/white palette in my house. I was hoping it was even a little lighter in color than it is, but they grey does extend most of the way across the rug as it fades out. I'm very happy with the purchase though. It feels like a bound carpet, not super thick and plush, but put a rug pad under it and it's very comfortable under foot.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  Almost a year later since I bought them. And no one mind my old halloween polish on my nails in the video lol... I absolutely love these rugs. I have 2. 1 in the main bathroom and the other in the adjacent closet in the bathroom. Since both rooms are small and more square it worked out well to have these matching round rugs in both areas. The color works great on the dark floors and tying in the gray and white in my house. My bathroom is contemporary and I love the way these accentuate that look. Also because they get walked on in a bathroom and I can't put them in the washer since their legitimate rugs with hard backs I use my Bissell carpet cleaner to keep them clean and nice. They are not thick so they won't absorb a lot water like a bath mat. And i do step on the section by the shower when i get out. I use a craft grade lightweight tack spray adhesive to spray the back and then put it on the tile. The rug won't move. It's a trick I learned a long time ago online and doesn't leave a residue on your floor. It's great and will keep any hard back rug in place on any hard floor so you do not have to buy an anti slip mat. You will have to redo it every time you pick up the mat to wash your floors under the mat though. Anyways, I do recommend the rugs. They are cheap and great for my small space. If you were to get the large one for a living room with bare floors than I would definitely suggest a thick pad for some cushion since they are low and have no cushion. These would also be great as is, in an office that you need to be able to roll a chair over without getting caught on any high pile or cushion. They are Great!!!

Arrived 3 days early. Ordered the 9x12 size for our ash grey expandable crate and barrel dinning table. The color is perfect for this table. I’ve been searching a year for the perfect color and texture. It’s soft enough for our dog to rest on it and easy to vacuum. Arrives rolled and heavy object were placed on all 4 corners for 24 hrs to flatten the rug. I will be purchasing from this seller again and purchasing this rug for another area in my home.

Absolutely LOVE this runner!! It's in my kitchen and is very good quality. Looks exactly like the picture and my dog loves to lay on it.

This is my second Safavieh rug...I loved the first one so much (ordered from Overstock.com), that I decided to buy the Adirondack rug in Blue, and the price was right on Amazon. However, like another reviewer mentioned, the quality of this rug is not as good as the one I ordered from the other site. Granted, my other rug is a different style, but I assumed would be very similar given the material is the same. But this rug is simply not as soft/plush. Anyway, if the quality would have been as I expected, this would have been a 5 star rug. I like everything else about the rug though, including the gradient color change from light to "dark" blue. I would describe it as a royal blue, and the pattern reminds me of water, which was the look I was going for.

I usually stay away from Safavieh rugs because this brand is definitely a "you get what you pay for" type. But I bought the bigger rug from this collection because I liked the design very much and thought it wasn't bad, so decided to get the runner this time. I think it looks better in person and you wouldn't guess how much it actually costs. However, the quality is typical Safavieh. When I vacuum the rug and runner, the dustcup of my vacuum cleaner gets half full each time. My vacuum is very powerful but it's a bit too much of shedding (it doesn't look like it sheds much though). The bigger rug had to go because it looked old after a year. The color had shaded, the surface was fluffy here and there. Again, it looks good, but this is definitely not good for a long term use.

Nice rug for the price. A bit thin... looks high quality, but feels a tick below high quality. We have cats, so we bought a less expensive rug in case it gets stained and needs to be replaced. Hairballs clean up well off of it, and the coloring helps hide stains. It did smell like chemicals when it arrived, so we let it "air out" draped across some chairs for a few days. Then it was fine. I love the look and would buy this rug again!

This is a perfect carpet for my living room. It has drawn my silver, light grey, ivory and smokey grey furniture together.The quality is lovely, and it is a perfect contrast to my dark floors.Thank you. I gave been searching for many months.

The rug was nice. The colour seemed very similar to what you see online. Unfortunately, it arrived with a gash in the side of the plastic, right through the cotton end caps, which caused a tear in the binding and it was unravelling. Nothing to do with the rug quality, just an accident. I ended up returning it so I cannot comment on how it wears or looks installed in the room as I never even unrolled it fully. Otherwise it was a nice enough rug.

The colour is nice. Love the size, I bought 8x8. My only issue is that it is very thin and the corners curl. I would have preferred a more “solid” base to the carpet.
