Great light therapy mask
My friend who works in a spa has one of these and recommended it. Package arrived fast - I tried it out and it's quick, hands-free and seems better made than a lot of the cheap stuff I've seen on Amazon. At first I thought it was broken since it looked like only some of the lights came on, but my friend told me most of the LEDs are infrared which work really well on skin but aren't visible without a filter. It's pretty simple to use and is basically a curved light panel that hangs in front of my face which probably works a lot better than sitting right against my skin like most of the ones I saw that look like creepy hockey masks. It comes with little goggles, but I close my eyes for the eight minutes so my eyelids get treated too. It says it takes a few weeks to work, so I'll be looking good come June!

Well made devise and easy to use with only minimal time investment
I owned a handheld wand but didn’t use it much as it was kind of annoying to keep moving around. This mask arrived a few days ago, it looks very well made and seems easy to use- just plug it in, adjust the headband to fit, click the mask on and press a button - the mask turns on and turns off by itself.I like that it does not touch my skin and does my whole face in 8 minutes!Looking forward to looking better soon.I’ll post an update in a few weeks.

Product Review
I’ve been getting treatments at my spa and wanted something I could do at home. I checked out Amazon and I found this one that seemed to be more legit than the really cheap masks, not overhyped or overpriced and by a US company which I liked. It also has mostly infra-red which is what I was getting at my spa and I didn’t see the others had that. I’m surprised it’s only a little more than the super-cheap ones and I’d rather spend it once for something that actually works. Just used it a couple of times and I really like it so far- it’ll be my quick little Zen break at the end of a day.

broke - poorly designed connection
Worked fine at first then broke because of a poorly designed connector that pulls apart next to another connector that is supposed to pull apart exactly the same way? This connection should never just pull apart but should be permanently fused as the wires inside are delicately soldered and break. I would not expect something of this price to be put together in such a manner. Now I am out a lot of money for the short amount of time I used it.

Results after one treatment
I saw this device being demonstrated on Rachel Ray. I have had "troubled" skin all my life. Suffice it to say, after 30 years of going to dermatologists, Fraxel Lazer treatments, .1% retin-A, facials and using every other OTC and prescription known to mankind to help my skin (to name a few), I am qualified through personal experience to give an honest review.I noticed a difference in my skin after one treatment with this device. I have been waiting impatiently for the "every other day " directions for use to do another treatment. I know full well when it comes to cell turnover - it does not benefit you to use more than directed. Moreover, bulbs decline over time in their effectiveness just as bulbs in a tanning bed need to be rplaced periodically. They are always strongest when new... to state the obvious :).I have been using this mask for appx 2 weeks now and my tone, pores and texture have improved a lot.For the first time in my life, two strangers have commented on how nice my skin looks!!I would recommend this device for anyone that needs to improve their facial skin and for the price its a bargain! Everything skin related costs a fortune! One/two month supply of Retin-A alone is the cost of this device.

Design problems
I want to love this device, but the headset is uncomfortable; couple that with the heaviness of the mask itself, which pulls it down so that the base of the mask rests on your chest, and you can imagine the frustration. I have started using it without the headband, just holding it in front of my face for the 8 minute duration. On a positive note, it looks sleek and well-made, the lights seem to be high quality (I'm not an expert), and it was beautifully packaged. I think if the company can address the headband issue, they will have a fine product. However, I may return for something that's easier to use.

Love my iDerma!
I usually don’t post reviews, but I do rely on them when researching an item-especially when it comes to skin care. I rec’d an iDerma as a gift a couple years back and have been using it pretty religiously ever since. I have to say that I’m amazed at how well this works on my aging skin- which looks brighter, tighter and less wrinkled…yay. Looking back on pics prior to using and now are really remarkable. My sister ordered a knock-off brand and has been using it for quite some time w/ hardly any positive results. She’s going to be so excited when the iDerma I ordered as a gift arrives on her doorstep. For me, iDerma is the real deal. You get what you pay for.
