Welactin Omega-3 Skin and Coat Support, Liquid, 4 oz, Green

Works amazingly. I started feeding a feral cat that was in really bad shape. He was missing fur and had sores all over him. His fur looked dry and rough. I started using the omega-3 supplement in his food and what a difference. All the missing patches of fur has grown in and his fur looks amazing. He now lets me pet him and rolls on his back to have his tummy rubbed. He is a different cat. I would highly recommend this omega-3 supplement

The cats are liking the taste. It was recommended by the vet to help with digestion, and skin condition. It doesn't smell as bad as others I have tried. The smaller bottle also will be emptied before it will have a rancid odor.The downside, as with other fish oils I have tried is the messiness. I wipe off the bottle after use.

Saw pretty immediate improvement in my cats coat and claws. My cat wasn’t a fan of the flavor though.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:My black cat had horrible dandriff. I called the vet who suggested fish oil. Well I got what looked good price wise. It has worked wonderful...and still does. No more dandruff and little to no scratching.

It's probably a very good product, but my cat won't eat anything this is mixed with. It's also difficult to force into his mouth - he starts spitting and i end up covered in fish oil

Happy cats have stopped having itchy skin, which means no more hairballs getting hacked up. Their coats look better, and they love the taste. They don't take it from the dropper, as some other reviews mention, but they give me The Look if it's not on their morning meal. The first bottle or two we got was great! It was slightly orange in color and smelled fishy - SOMEWHERE it went wrong. I noticed one or two bottles ago it was a different color and didn’t have that fishy smell! I thought maybe it’s just the batch but wait, it smells like vegetable oil. Our cats stopped finishing their meals and started going to each others bowls trying to look for food. We switched to native pet and our cats for the first time in two weeks have completely finished their food! KEEP THE MEASURE SCOOP AND SWITCH TO NATIVE PET if you notice a change in formula. I smelled the bottle the welactin was in and the vegetable oil on our fridge and there was no difference. Vegetable oil in small amounts like the doses we gave aren’t going to kill them, but it took all the appetite and settled stomachs out of our cats, especially since it’s supposed to be an omega 3 oil and there was a NOTABLE difference in formulation at some point.Please just do what’s best for your animal, but also note these topics listed are indeed problems. Will not be repurchasing.

This helped my cat with her skin (she was licking so much that she had hair loss - see photo 1). Her hair has grown back after only a few months of using it (photo 2) and she doesn't LOVE the supplement (she'll walk away after taking a bite even though she was devouring the non-supplemented food seconds before I added it) but she doesn't seem to mind it and will still eat all her food throughout the day. Maybe it helps curb her appetite a bit too for healthy weight?
