This thing is great. I have a retrax on my other truck and it costs more than 2X. I can't tell the difference between the quality. I agree with everyone else here and had to immediately throw away the totally unusable instructions and watch the 2 minute video. I then installed it myself without any help (even lifting it on my truck). It took less than 1.5 hours. I had to re-adjust the hole-less clamps after learning more how they work, but they're the same as the Retrax, so there must be a youtube on those if you want to avoid the 20 minute rework I had. It's about as difficult as a more complicated IKEA build. If you have any mechanical ability, I wouldn't hesitate getting it despite the installation problems others bring up.

This is a very good quality product. I found the instructions and install video helpful but some information should be a little clearer. Like there are two different size screws when attaching the clamps, and you wont notice it until you realize you need a longer screw when attaching clamps...there is a shorter Hardly noticeable as you work with them...but when i got to a point where the screw i had left needed to be longer I realized there are two different sizes for the clamp install. There are no holes for the hoses to drain water...my new truck does not have any holes so I would have to drill. But instead Ill attach a small plastic jar to the hose and see if i even need the drain hoses. Take your time and lay out all items on the ground and follow the install video. I really like this Tonneau Cover and yes I chose this one for the very good price and with discount and Plus 10 percent state tax i paid 704.00 Very good price and i have a friend with a cover he paid 1,500 for and I don't see the difference in quality. The seller is very helpful when you contact them and they respond the same day or the very next morning.

I purchased this back in February. Maybe got 6 months out of it worked really good at first, actually easy to install despite what people were saying, but the plastic locking clips that lock it into the place on the slider broke. found out how cheaply made these locking clips were so the retractable top will not stay closed and now all I have to do is throw it away because there is not any replacement parts available. I would recommend another brand as this is cheaply made.

The cover is good quality, works flawlessly, and looks great. The only thing keeping this from 5 stars is the terrible instructions included. Trust me, you should find video installation instruction somewhere else on the internet because the book in the box skips steps, and is worded poorly. Once you get past all of that and realize what a great bargain this is, you will be fine. The dealership wants $1500 plus labor for the same unit, so it was still worth the headache. The best advice is to be patient and have a helper when you install.

Good - works and improved mpg 11 a 17% (‘23 F150 5.0L) achieving 25.8MPG on 60-65MPH. Achieved 23.3 on 70MPH. Looks good and secures bed easily.Some of the designs are impressive, clamp assembly most of all.Bad - Instructions are old assembly, steps out of order or missing altogether, and writer clearly does not write technical instructions but especially not in English. Found a YouTube on this installation that got me closer. All the way through I was balancing between returning and finishing. In the end I am stubborn and knew I would figure it out given enough time.

If you are not mechanical inclined do not order this. Instruction are hard to read and make no sense. Looking at the ad video it is not the same as unit received. If you do figure it out it is a good unit. Sometimes when closing unit it wants to stop at stop points,couple time it will go all the way. Good luck!
