Works ,for real,very good
Wow, this thing is amazing, I had an old Linksys Wi-Fi 6 mesh MX55EC model, and it worked just fine,I decided to buy this Atlas Pro Wi-Fi 6 router.I could not believe my eyes,it just double the speed of my internet.See before, out of 300 Mgbs supplied by provider, I got around 84-98 mgbs, atthe location of my linked devices. With this router, I am kidding you not, with the same devices, same provider,I got 246 mgbs.Freaking amazing ,not that much buffering anymore, I was not a believer, I am now.I mean ,one thing is to improve 10-15 mgbs, but more then double, how knew !!! .I am not affiliated with manufacturer or seller,in any way, maybe other routers are good to,never tried lately, but now, I know that sometimes is not the provider that supplies our internetconnection, but the equipment that we use.Maybe I just got lucky for once.I ,definitly,am NOT a very tech person,at all, when I replaced the old mesh router, with this one,I am pretty sure I skipped couple of steps, while doing the setup process, but the router at the end connected to my internet like a champ, and I concluded might be very ,very intuitive.Thank you guys for a great work, and keep it up,who knows maybe next time a Wi-Fi 7,but,with my finances, not that soon,I am very happy with what I have right now,and also I am happy, that I did not listen to some reviewers, and tried this by myself .I always read the bad reviews first, and make up my own mind, this time for my own benefit.Thank you Linksys.

Quick Setup with Linksys App
Product delivered overnight in new packaging with labeled shrinkwrap. OEM box contained Atlas Pro 6 MX5501 router, power adapter, ethernet cable, warranty booklet and setup guide (quick start card, no detailed instructions). Purchased as a node to connect to an existing Linksys mesh router. Node was placed in desired location, plugged in and booted up. Linksys app and password were already on phone since used to setup original router. Opened app and followed instructions to establish connection between node and router. System working well in under 15 minutes from box opening to deployment.

Works great
Set up was simple - Download linksys app on phone ahead of time, make setup go faster. Speed and signal strength is great. Haven't been any dropouts.

the app works some times
The app would not work properly at first. I had to hook up my smart tvs separate.

Reliable and effective
Started with 2 nodes, now up to 6 nodes. Used in 2 very different settings. One was in a relatively compact newer house with good lines of sight. Performance was fine. The second is a much older house with everything from stone to heavy timber and lots of twists and turns. Have 1 node in a barn over 100' from main house. Performance has been consistently excellent. Solid signal strength, always online, nodes connect with each other seamlessly, and the app has got better over time. Can consistently get 300+ MBps anywhere in a several hundred foot radius. Can get 500+ close to main router. It has its limitations - it's sensitive to placement and the setup process can occasionally go into funky loops. But overall, it's handled multiple folks streaming / watching videos, videoconferencing, and surfing without any issues.

Internet Uplink Port Does Not Work, Don't Waste Your Time
What absolute garbage. Right out of the box, the internet uplink port does not work (the port marked "Internet" that connects to a modem), rendering the router completely useless. Tested the port with several other cables and modems/routers, same problem. Multiple factory resets, same problem. If it matters to you, I am a Network Engineer and this was my experience. There are small errors and then there are egregious ones. Imagine buying a brand new car with no gas pedal, same thing. If they can't get this right, what other manufacturing defects are there? Don't waste your time like LINKSYS wasted mine.

Great coverage
Had the older Velop since it first came out. It has worked well for me for about 8 years or so. I did have a failure and decided it was time to update and add wifi 6 to the mix. 4 nodes to cover a 3300 sq’ house, 800 sq’ garage, 2400 sq’ shop and the patio area. The new velop node to node signal strength (same placement) is about 15 db stronger than the older Velop. Providing even better coverage than before. Set up was quick and easy. Well worth it.
