These spikes are the perfect solution to keeping the birds from nesting above our exterior doors. We have a recessed transom window above our doors that mourning doves wanted to claim for their home for a while. I tried putting ty wraps sticking out of a board but that didn't work. Then I saw these and they work beautifully. Well made and easy to assemble. Great value for the quantity that you receive.

Works great for squirrels. I highly recommend trimming the spikes depending on your application, since squirrels can easily slip through the spikes if they enter from the side.

I like this product for several reasons:1. With the plastic base, you can trim it to length.2. It appears to be substantial enough and fends off birds well.Concerns:1. I am not sure how well the plastic base will hold up in the Arizona sun.2. It requires assembly. One star off for this, because of the different length wire sides, it is important to have a plan when assembling to make sure the sections wires are assembled the same so they will fit together in a consistent manner, if that makes sense.I will update if there are any durability issues, but I am very satisfied right now.

I installed these around my horse stalls and the keep the birds away! Easy to install and even break into smaller sections. No more bird dropping in my horse hay or water! Humane solution.

Spikes look good. The base is made of plastic. I would not use the plastic base. I would order the metal base so I can screw it to the wall easier. Some people just like sticking them up so the plastic would work well in that case. Easy to assemble.

I bought these for the birds that keep nesting on our house and in our hanging ferns. This is the first year we weren't invaded. Was fun watching them try and the quickly give up. I like that you can customize the size by only using what you need. I've already given some to a friend who ended up buying some for his house. They work!

We had an issue with birds nesting in the columns of our back porch. We tried almost everything to keep them from doing this. Including little snakes. Nothing worked until we installed these. They have been up for over a year now and still no issue. Safe to say they are durable and effective.
