Works perfect don't break like plastic
The original plastic one broke, had two plastic one's break in less than 3 months. This one holds our showerhead tight and in place and I don't believe it will break any time soon if ever. We have had it in for a while now and no leaks and it holds the shower head where you put it very well. Only thought is maybe we got lucky that the neck of our shower head fit properly into it. If you have large or small one it might be a different story, I don't know if they are standard size. Bottom line Very Happy with this.

Solid Brass, but...
Yes, this is solid brass but it probably contains lead. It is not marked, nor noted to be, lead-free.I'm using it for only cold water, so it's not a big concern for me.Easy installation, it does not require any tape, and you should not be using tape anyway because it is contains PFOAs.The pivot tension is adjustable. You can apply food-grade silicone grease to the ball/washer interface if you want a really smooth movement.The slot is sized exactly as advertised, and of course you need to measure your showerhead to make sure it fits.

Easy to install
Product came with all necessary pieces, installed in under a minute. Perfect fit for my shower head. Just know that it is not adjustable. The shower head stays in a stationary position.

Replaced broken plastic holder
The original plastic one broke this was a far superior replacement. And fit perfect

It's plastic
This a shared shower head in our home. As with other plastic models, it breaks if you adjust it too much.I have since order a metal one. They are more expensive, but worth it !

holder for handheld shower head a little small
Worked fine. Came with teflon tape and installed in a snap. Unfortunately it did not fit my shower head, it was a little small but I think if I force it a bit it will stay in the holder. Totally my fault though because the description clearly stated the diameter of the holder and I didn't take note of it.
