It features Freud's Perma-SHIELD coating, and a triple-chip tooth grind, the long-term dependability of TiCo high-density carbide, and a series of laser-cut, anti-vibration slots. Triple-Chip Grind for Chip-Free Top and Bottom Surfaces Built to leave a high-quality, chip-free finish on both the top and the bottom of double-sided laminates and sheets of melamine, this blade features 80 teeth with a triple-chip grind. The blade's teeth also feature positive hook angles for longer tooth life in production applications. And this blade is so effective that there's no need to use a scoring blade with it.This blade is designed for optimal performance when cutting laminate or melamine that ranges from 1/4 to 1-5/8 inches in thickness. It's also a solid performer when crosscutting wood or working with plywood and chipboard that's less than 1-inch thick.
