Works great! Hard to imagine doing a headgasket or timing belt on a volvo engine without this jig.

Needed to pull the valve cover on my P2 2.5T S80, and this toolkit includes everything you need. Very versatile for timing work. The cam lockers are strong enough to allow removal and torquing of the VVT hubs, so high marks there. You may have to do a bit of configuring with the cam lockers for it to work depending on your exact engine config. Four stars because the valve cover pressure tools that thread into the spark plug holes have pretty crappy threads, so be careful not to cross thread. Overall, this kit is pretty full featured and I plan on keeping in my tool repertoire for P2 Volvos.

This is the *complete* kit needed for cylinder head removal. It includes the camshaft locking tool, the crankshaft locking tool to lock the crankshaft in the proper position, and the cylinder head lifting tools which are used to lift the head straight up off the engine block. Without the lifting tool there is a risk of breaking the camshaft sealing ledges; as many people have found out.
