First attempt came completely shattered. Returned and tried it again and the glass came completely intact this time. *whew*Set it up on our deck and sat down with a glass of wine and enjoyed the fire show.I left more of the wick out and had a nice flame up. It burned cleaned and created a lovely ambience. I got about 45mins to an hour out of each “light up”.I appreciate the small compact design and throughly enjoy it. It has a gorgeous flame and I really do enjoy it.Notes for improvement though...Perhaps a larger lip around the edge to help keep the rocks more contained. They fall out so easily but as long as I don’t move anything it’s good.Instructions for the wick! Not even mentioned on what to do with it. Had to go back to reviews to see how to use it. (Just shove it in the container) Not especially hard but it would have been nice to have a little FYI.Perhaps some better packing...seems like a lot of people have theirs like ours come broken.

The perfect tabletop firepit for indoor or outdoor use. Filling the pot (it comes with an absorbent wrap around wick material) lets you enjoy the fire for about 1 1/2 to 2 hours. The bottom metal piece is lightweight and hollow so it fits easily over an umbrella hole and stopper. It produces heat, but not at all overwhelming. It really looks beautiful as it gets darker outside. There are no odors or smoke or residue that builds up on the glass. I didn't use all the while little pebbles provided, just enough to cover decoratively.

It works like they say until a light wind blows it out. It also looks better now I changed the stones to blue to match everything.

We LOVE LOVE LOVE this little fireplace. Fits perfectly on our round dinning room table and really stands out. The fire is somewhat larger than my other ethanol fireplace which was a pleasant surprise. I attribute this to the cylindrical shape of the glass, the fire reaches up to consume more air and as such provides a bigger flame.the one thing I did not like was getting the white gravel done, but we figured out how to make it work :) All in a all an absolute STEAL for the price. Go for it, you know you want too ;)

This product looks nothing like the pictures when it comes to the base. Rather than a shiny, black base it's a dull, dark grey base that collects dust and scratches easily. I'm actually stuck with this product, too, because the seller charges a 20% restocking fee and doesn't use Amazon for their return process so shipping the return is out of pocket and does not get reimbursed. Shameful.

Just OK really, generally priced about right but maybe should be a touch lower for what it is. Very simple and basic design.Flame effect is nice, however the black powder coat style base was scuffed in several places.The recommended Regal Flame fuel is not completely odorless and to that point this burner comes with some fiberglass looking synthetic wicking material that is designed to be rolled up in the small fuel canister according to the seller. After lighting it for the first time and letting it fully flame for awhile the fumes coming off it were still terrible and actually irritated my throat. I removed the wicking material and just filled with fuel and the irritating fumes were gone. Still not 100% odor free but not bad for occasional use.

My wife seen this and wanted it, I thought it wouldn't be very good and have little flame but to my surprise it is quite cool it has a great flame and lasts much longer than I thought. I hate to say it but wife was right and we're glad we bought it.

Bought this to replace a fire pot that had literally burned out. Smaller than I thought. Easy to assemble, but you have to take the glass off every time you fill it. The glass never wants to set properly on the edges that have been infiltrated by the small, white, chalky stones. You can cure this by buying glass “rocks” at the dollar stool. We are keeping it because it was at a decent price point, but there has to be a better and less expensive unit out there.
