well tolerated
I have never been able to tolerate calcium supplements and according but supposedly need them badly due to my osteoporosis , I have tried so many different brands. Usually I feel nauseated after taking , food or no food, or just very heavy uncomfortable abdominal discomfort . NOT with this one , this is the firstcalcium supplement that doesn't upset my stomach and is easy to swallow . For me this is worth the cost.very satisfied!

It's okay with my RA meds. I couldn't take bone density meds with RA meds.

Started taking these to prevent bone loss, too soon to say if it serves the purpose, likely not buy again due to high price.

No Stomach Upset
Very easy on your stomach. This is the only calcium pill I can take that doesn’t upset my stomach.

AlgaeCal is amazing especially for sensitive Stomachs!
I hesitated so long before ordering AlgaeCal (plain not Plus) I have never been able to tolerate any calcium supplement products. It caused me severe stomach upset I can not use any dairy products either.So since I have a full knee replacement scheduled I wanted to be as healthy as I can be.I also have Osteoporosis. My Doctor of course suggested so called ‘bone building drugs’ with all the severe side effects! Been there done that!After 11 days of taking this product my pre-op knee pain was significantly better! Plus I’m tolerating the product with no side effects!I feel so much better that I’ve ordered the AlgaeCal Plus Bone builder pack. I am hoping I will be able to tolerate that as well!

Not all capsules are not sealed tightly
My husband and I have been taking this ALGAECAL - Plant Based Calcium Supplement for a few months now and every single bottle has a few empty capsules and fine powder in the jar. The irritating part is that the loose calcium powder pours out on our hands every single time we turn the bottle upside down to take the pills. This usually happens halfway through the bottle. We are unsubscribing from this product for this reason otherwise this supplement are fine.
