Want to quickly get in some protein without the typical protein shakes or protein bars? This product may be for you! I didn’t know these existed until recently and I must say, I like the fun colors and the taste! Obviously, not real pop tart but close enough! Filling, tasty, nice packaging and gets the job done. Sorta has the same texture of those classics sprinkle sugar cookies we see but without the immediate overwhelming feeling of downing a bunch of sugar. There is a slight teeny bit of chalky taste but that diminishes after the second bite .. 8/10!

I see all these great reviews and I am really astounded that anyone would say this tastes good. I was really hoping that I would like this. Especially as expensive as it is. It is really…just….disgusting. I couldn’t even take a full bite out of it. The packing is cute and inviting. And as a bariatric patient I loved the high protein grams it includes. In theory it sounds awesome but Sweet Jesus have they really wronged me with this deception of a healthy “treat”. When you open it you are smacked with an overwhelming overpowering smell of what I can only describe as yeasty, moldy play-doh. It is not pleasant in the least. To even take a bite out of it is hard to accomplish. Some people did recommend zapping it in the microwave so I did so for 15 seconds. Did that help? Naw. Now it just smells like yeasty, moldy WARM play-doh. I honestly cannot imagine they have repeat customers. I cannot return it because they have no return policy even though all the other ones are individually wrapped. So I cannot say I am too happy about that. Just BEWARE and try this product at your own risk. I pray you have a strong stomach and a poor sense of smell if you are looking to purchase this item optimistically.

5/24/25 Update -> Now 5 StarsAfter sharing my thoughts on quality of the product, I was very pleasantly surprised to have been contacted by Legendary Foods. In an effort to ensure customer loyalty, they wanted to know more about what I'd received, how many times the product has been like this, and offered the explanation (and apology) that the they were in process of changing production facilities.We shared a number of communications and they really took my feedback seriously and worked to make things right. As a result of sincerely excellent customer care, I will continue to purchase the cinnamon rolls as they feel much more equal to the value I'd expect at the price point. I've tired the Berry and traditional cinnamon rolls and found them all to be pretty good; the berry flavor is subtle, but the traditional cinnamon rolls are on the money.It's rare I think to find a company that really reaches out to customers who aren't absolutely satisfied. This meant a lot to me and because of that, I will likely continue to be a customer as long as the product quality = a fair value in presentation and flavor :) Thank you Legendary Foods!Quick and TLDR Summary:- They arrive in a box, individually wrapped, often crushed by Amazon poor packaging. Packaging - 2/10- I have tried almost all of the flavors. Taste 9.5/10- They look barely like the image though, sadly most flavors look like the picture I've attached. Appearance 1/10- At 24.99 these are over $3 each. With the damaged boxes from shipping and the product mismatch for expectation vs reality....Price 4/10Pros: Tastes good, nutrition is solidCons: Delivery, appearance, and price are poor or too high

I’m so sorry to dock a star because I love the idea of a protein pop tart but the birthday cake flavor is not good. I generally could eat any and everything but the birthday cake flavor tastes like the frosting they put on cheap grocery store cupcakes. I’m sure the other flavors are amazing and can’t wait to try those.

Protein content:These are OK if your looking for something different to up your protein. As you can tell by my pics, they aren't exactly as advertised. I've probably order a couple of dozen over the last couple of months, and not a single one was completely covered in icing, or had more than a few sprinkles on it. They taste fine. Pretty chewy for a "poptart". Not much in the way of "filling". They are definitely overpriced. I only get them when they have a fairly good discount, otherwise I would pass as there are much cheaper ways to get your protein in.
