Pretty pleased with this item.
Pretty pleased with this item. That being said, here are some details:1. Suction is good for a small unit. Normal and high power. Easy to empty, but not a large dirt capacity. You may have to empty after each use (recommended by Shark).2. Filter is washable... though I usually just bang it against the trash can or brush it.3. Decent warranty: From my memory: Two years, exchangeable for a new one once in its life, and if done, the 2nd new one is warrantied for an additional 6 months (but not to exceed the original warranty length (so keep your receipt)).4. We have 2 in the house (one for ea floor) and one did fail... the governor on the motor failed and it ran at high speed, very noisey, and while it worked, it scared the wifee... this one was returned to Costco for a refund... however, not in stock at Costco any longer, so next stop: Amazon for a replacement.5. The tool tray and charging receptacle are convenient. The crevice tool is very useful and stores nicely with the unit when not in use.We like the product and the company... we have other Sharks in the house, but these are the ones we use the most.

I'm floored (see what I did there)
I bought this because my regular dust buster was just too big and clunky, even with adjustable attachments. I also didn't feel like it did a terribly great job of actually getting up dirt dander and pet hair. This is ligh weight and comes with two attachments one brush and one thinner one. Getting a ton of cobwebs and dust left behind in an apartment was daunting. This gadget has been invaluable. Now that things are more clean. It couldn't be easier to use this to maintain that state of calm in my space. Well worth the price! I I can even pop on the brush attachment and use it to do a quick spot vacuum of my baseboards and floors without pulling out the larger stick vac. which is a testament to how useful this is.

Good vacuum on high power mode!
Let me begin by telling you that I have tried 12 different battery vacs and this is definitely a good one!If it didn’t have the suction boost option I wouldn’t say that. It has somewhat good suction on the normal setting, however when you increase the suction it does a much better job! There is however a negative when you increase suction. As you can imagine it draws more battery power so the vacuum will only last about 4-6 minutes on high power. However I must point out that I know someone who also purchased this vacuum and he says he gets about 10 minutes on high. As a former engineer and a consumer electronics writer, I totally understand that. Depending the battery, how it’s cared for etc, it’s possible. Just like people are different, batteries as well have different lives. This vacuum is great because it’s like an extension because it is long rather than wide allowing you to vacuum in places another battery vacuum would not.One last mention, the instructions with the vacuum instructions say to leave it in the charger all the time so it’s ready when you need it. I don’t know about that. I have a cordless phone and if I leave in the charger 24/7 I notice the battery degrades faster. What I do is leave it on the stand without it connected to AC, and charge it when the battery runs down. This is like a chicken or the egg question. Some engineers say not to do that and others say it’s okay to leave in the charger. I’m not going to sit here and write a white paper on battery storage, however you do what you want.In conclusion, this is a good battery on the high power mode and you won’t be sorry that you purchased it!

The best I have owned!
I love this hand vac! I have had many of er the years and this is the best! Great suction, easy to clean, and is handy for the car or quick little spills in the kitchen. It's are attachments good. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the brush attachment needs to be a stiffer brush for car carpet use.

Kind of useless
It's so tiny, basically just for crumbs. In addition, for me, the whole purpose of this type of vacuum is to be ultra convenient for smaller messes. But the design is stupid because you have remove the attachment to charge it. Then reattach to use. I know that sounds silly but if I have to go through those steps, I might as well just get my big vacuum out. When you go to empty it, you end up having to touch the waste (ew David) to get it out from around the filter. It blows on the mess you're trying to clean up. How did this pass through the design team? They've got to be smarter than me. Yet maybe they're not. So this was a loser purchase for me. Wish I had returned it.

Hard Suction
Bought one to give as a gift and ended up keeping it. This thing is wonderful! Then ordered another one to give as a gift. Hard suction. Dust cup is small. Thought a little pricey, but you get what you pay for. Would buy again!

I love my new Wandvac!
I researched for a few weeks before buying a new handvac. I bought the plum Wanvac. I’m so glad I did purchase it. It’s so lightweight and easy to use.My only complaint is the very small dust cup. It doesn’t hold much at all. And filters are a little pricey. I read you can wash filters and reuse. But they’re made of cardboard and it’s kinda difficult to get all the dirt from in between the folds. Mine is already looking frayed and worn after 6 or 7 uses. But it’s not enough to discourage me from purchasing it again.I found the battery lasts long enough to vacuum my couch cushions and underneath them. And my son is the “crumb meister”!I would definitely recommend this to my friends and family members. It so much better than the generic brand one I had previously.
