I got drawn into an ad on Facebook that depicted an old man making knives in Montana. I should have known better - I tell everyone: “Don’t fall for those FB ads” Well, when I saw the video of an old man in Montana making knives I couldn’t resist.Based on where my PayPal went to and how long it took to get here, the blade is actually quite nice - zero markings on where it’s made. The handle needs some work. I’m going to try some sandpaper and some boiled linseed oil. I sharpened the heck out of the blade and she’s like a razor. Seems to be high quality steel. The sheath however? Floppy vinyl.So, off to Amazon I went and after a pretty exhaustive search - bingo!This knife sheath is absolutely gorgeous. The pictures do not do it justice. From the leatherwork itself, the stitching, stamping, the tanning - it’s just stunningly perfect.Suddenly, I don’t feel too bad about getting sucked into a knife ‘Made in Montana, China…Thank you! I will be doing business with you again!

I wasn't sure what to expect, but this sheath was the perfect fit for the knife I have. I love it. It looks well made.

Overall the scabbord is nice leather and fits my 4-1/2" blade well. My only complaint is that the belt loop is made with a 1/2" narrow leather strip. When this scabbord breaks in and the leather softens from use, I have no doubt that the scabbord will be held flimsily on my belt. I believe another 1/8" width, to a minimum of 5/8", and even up to 3/16" additional width would have been better and would have shown this company cared about quality a little more than caring where they could cut a corner scrimmping on leather for savings. I would have been happy to pay a couple bucks more for a better designed, wider, belt loop.Edit: I wrote my review before I read any other review. (my bad) I have to agree with another reviewer that that the belt loop is placed too low on the scabbord. Just anothe reason why a wider belt loop is essential for a quality scabbord.

I have this custom made knife that was in need of a sheath since the knife maker is very good at making knives but not so good as a leather worker. This sheath is real heavy duty and constructed of very fine quality leather and just the perfect fit for my custom hunting knife. The workmanship is impeccable. I have several other knives with the same blade length and my consider buying again for them.

I bought this sheath for a knife that my father had and I wanted to gift to my grandson. The leather work was just beautiful and the size was exactly what I needed for this knife and my grandson can put it on his belt if he wants..

The knife sheath itself is decent. The leather loop to attach it to your belt is attached so low on the sheath, that the sheath wants to tilt sideways. It makes it useless for me to carry a knife in.

I have an old Rob Hass hunting knife that needs a proper sheath. This fits perfectly like it was made for it. So happy it has a proper way to keep it. Good quality and nice embossed pattern.

Good product and value for the money. Fit both my buck vanguard and lionsteel m4.The snap closure opens too easily.
