Quality and Versatile for DIY Instrument Projects
I bought this set of YQBOOM piezo discs to experiment with pickups for various acoustic instruments, and I’m very satisfied with their performance.Pros:• Good Sound Sensitivity: These piezo discs are highly sensitive and pick up vibrations well. They work great on acoustic instruments like guitars and drums, capturing clear, resonant sounds with minimal distortion.• Perfect for DIY Projects: With 10 discs included, this pack offers a lot of flexibility for DIYers. I’ve used them to create drum triggers and pickups for CBG guitars, and they’re perfect for experimenting with different placements and configurations.• Sturdy Build and Quality Wires: The 3.94-inch wires are just the right length for easy setup, and they seem durable enough to hold up during repeated use. The discs themselves feel well-made and have handled soldering and installation without any issues.• Affordable: Given the quality, you get great value here, especially with 10 in the pack.Cons:• May Require Some Customization: Depending on your setup, you might need to add foam or adhesive backing for better sound isolation. Not a big deal, but something to keep in mind.Overall, these piezo discs have been a fantastic addition to my toolkit. They’re versatile, well-built, and work exactly as advertised. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experiment with contact microphones or DIY acoustic pickups!

Works well for my purpose
I purchased these to use as electronic drum triggers. They work great for that purpose. My only wish is that the wires were a little heavier gauge. The wires are very lightweight and a few of them came loose from the solder joints when installing them. Otherwise, a good price and they work as they should.

Fixed my Rock Band drumpad
I had a Rock Band drum pad that wasn't working. I swapped two pads to verify that the wiring upstream was OK, then bought these sensors to attempt a fix. They are the right size for PS2 Rock Band gen 1 drums, and with a couple Wago lever nuts I was back in business. No noticeable difference in sensitivity from the original pads. And now I have 14 backups for future repairs!

As expected + balanced pickup tips and tricks
Adhere using blue poster tack. Place unit on a flat surface, use small amount of tack, roll it out thin, does not need to go to edge, place on instrument lightly, listen, repositionable, press firm. Connect 2 in series to make a balanced pickup.Place both piezo in same direction use blue tack method. Good sound, no hum, so easy. Blue tack can route wire and cable away from instrument. Balanced Piezo Contact Microphones on instructables

Cheap but the packaging is very lacking
These things are fragile, I was shocked to find that they were shipped in a ziplock bag rather than a box. In my case they were all in good shape but it really wouldn't take much to destroy them in shipping. I personally use these for auto bed leveling on my 3d printer and these work well for that purpose. The wires are a bit lacking but if you're careful and don't overheat the ceramic it's easy enough to solder thicker wires.

They work, but are fragile and smaller than expected.
They came in a loose bag like this with no protection and at least one was broken, others are scratched. While testing a pair one of the leads came free of the solder joint. I thought the wider size would have a larger pz surface, but only the thin backing metal is wider - it's a standard small pz. They're sensitive and seem to work ok otherwise.

Just ok
I bought these to replace a trigger on my electronic drums. It worked for about an hour of playing before the wires broke off right at the solder. The trigger works as designed, but the attached wires are way too thin to stand up to my application.
