Great Product
Unlike the cheaper clips I ordered the first time, these clips hold tight! I tested them on 1.2mm cord and 2mm cord. Both were totally secure! Before I ordered I saw some reviews that commented on one clip in the package coming with the spring out. This was also the case with the ones I received. BUT just for fun I took a shot at seeing if I could put it back in and Presto! in it went, the little press top went on and now I have 25 working clips. I would have been fine with 24 anyhow because I use them in pairs, but it's nice to have a spare in case one rolls away. I will purchase this item again when I need more.

Work fine so far on pants
I use these on drawstring pants for someone who can't tie them. Its a life saver. The only downside is that for the thicker strings I need to cut off the hard end, and use a paper clip to pull it through. Then I tie a knot. The hole for the string would fit about a normal shoelace end with some wiggling. Note that I bought a second box and some of them had a hard metal piece sticking out of the side. Clearly a bad batch. About 6 in the box were unusable. Some of the others had a bump - but not one that would hurt someone.

Use a bobby pin or paperclip to thread mask ties
So, at first I was all set to return these. They seemed too small for the masks I bought from Stark's. I've never used cord locks before and had no clue what I was doing. Then, I saw a review saying that they used a paperclip to thread the ear loops through the cord lock. Well, I didn't have paperclips, but I did have bobby pins!It took some effort, but for anyone else who is not in any way crafty, here's what I did:1. Threaded the bobby pin onto the ear loop2. Pressed the cord lock in and stuck the bobby pin through it. At this point, the ear loop still won't go through.3. Used my teeth (you could also use a grippy tool like pliers, but I was working with what I had) to pull the rest of the ear loop through. And now the mask fits perfectly!

Quality and size of these toggle clasps are not consistent!
I bought a package of these toggle buttons to see if they would work in a craft kit I was preparing for kids at our church's VBS. I needed to thread two strands of 325 Paracord through them. They worked great, and I was highly satisfied so 2 weeks later I reordered another package to complete the project. The second package didn't work at all! The hole in these toggle clasps is slightly smaller than the original.. Two strands of 325 Paracord would not fit through the clasp. I then purchased 95 Paracord. Although this Paracord is much thinner, I still had great difficulty threading two strands through the clasp and I am not sure that children will be able to successfully use these. One strand would slide through, but the second strand would feed out through the hole where the button moved up and down to activate the spring. I was very disappointed in the second package. The quality and size of the product is NOT consistent!

Works for masks
These worked perfect for adjusting the size of my toddler's mask. They were easy to put on and stayed in place just fine. I had trouble finding a mask to fit him so these were very helpful. It wasn't too bad a price either because there are 25. It came in a plastic clear case to keep track of them and I just put the extras in my sewing kit.

Perfect little cord locks
I use these for fabric masks ties (Behind the head - these would be too big for ear loops, though I've read that a pony bead works great.) My ties are 1/4" (4 layers of fabric, folded into itself) and two lengths fit great into these cord locks. Will update review after they get used a bit more, but they seem to be holding up good so far.
